Adair County Marriages

 

The Adair County News, November 3, 1909 Dohoney - Squires Last Wednesday afternoon [October 27th], at the residence of the groom's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S.E. [Samuel] Squires, Mr. Chapman Dehoney and Miss Kate Squires were united in marriage, Eld. Z.T. Williams officiating. There were quite a number of relatives and friends present, the couple receiving many handsome presents. They will reside near Milltown, where the groom was reared. [The bride's full name was Sarah Katherine. She died in 1968, three days past their 59th wedding anniversary. Chapman died in 1974, age 92.]
