~Meetings are the third Thursday of every month at 7 PM
at the museum in the old Carnegie building on 20th street in
Middlesboro.
~Museum hours are Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, & every
first & third Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.
~Officers are President- Jerry Browning;
Vice-President- Tom Shattuck; Recording Secretary-
Joyce Frazier; Corresponding Secretary- Rutha
Jackson. Treasurer- Ann Matheny
~Dues are $15.00 a year. Lifetime memberships are
$200.00. Memberships include a journal four times a year.
BELL COUNTY HISTORICAL SOCIETY won first place in the
historical division of the window displays at the Kentucky
Mountain Laurel Festival in May. Four former Governor's
and Governor Ernie Fletcher were in attendance |
