Ferguson, Juanita -84, of Pineville, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2005 at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born in Pineville on November 10, 1920 the daughter of the late Joseph and Florence Stewart Cloud.  A lifelong resident of Pineville, she had been a special friend to the Mason Combs Family and Children. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore Ferguson, son, David  Ferguson, sisters, Mary Hester Cloud, Mary Helen Cloud, Lucille Cloud and Jessie Mays and a brother, Joseph Cloud, Jr. Survivors include her daughters, Florence Mays and Joanna and Charles Zachery; grandchildren, Walter Joe Mays, Kellie Mays, Wendell Zachery, Michael Zachery, Dewayne Zachery and Christine Hunter; nine great grandchildren, sisters and brother, Catherine White, Rosa Cloud and Walter and Alice Cloud and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Services were Monday at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Evangelist Michael Ferguson and Rev. Robert Cornett.  Burial was in the Wallsend Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Combs, John Combs, David Combs, Anthony Cloud, Kevin Cloud, James Ferguson and Curt Ferguson. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of arrangements.

FERRY, HELEN WELLER - 97, of Lenapah, OK, passed away on Thursday, February 17, 2005 at her home. She was born in Pineville, KY on August 23, 1907 the daughter of the late Nicholas John and Carrie Neal Weller. She had been a secretary at the Four Mile Power Plant, a bookkeeper and homemaker and enjoyed gardening. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, John L. Greene and David M. Ferry; son, Frank L. Greene, four brothers and three sisters. Survivors include her daughter, Carole A. (Henry) Marshell of Tucson, AZ; son, Jon W. (Dorothy) Greene of Show Low, AZ; eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Graveside Services were at 2 PM Tuesday at the Pineville Memorial Cemetery with Rev. W. Terrell Gibson. The Arnett & Steele Funeral Home, Pineville, was in charge of local arrangements.

Fletcher, Sarah “Lunda” -95, passed away at her home on Sunday, April 9, 2006.Born on Easter Sunday, April 16, 1911, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Ellen Vaughn Murray. She was united in marriage to the late Lemuel L. Fletcher in October 1932. Lunda and Lemuel had five children. One son, Wallace Fletcher, preceded her in death, as well as two brothers, Edmond Murray and Kenneth Murray; and one sister, Mary Murray Gibson. Survivors include her sons, Willard Fletcher, Frakes; Wilburn Fletcher and wife, Loretta, grandson, Wilburn Fletcher Jr. and special friend, Mandy Brock, of Frakes, and Harrogate, Tenn., granddaughter, Theresa Roark of Middlesboro; daughter, Wilma and husband, Ray Palmblad, granddaughters, Donna Chmelar and Dianne Moss, all of Walhalla, S.C.; daughter, Waunita and husband, Ray Partin of Walhalla, S.C., granddaughter, Kathleen Taylor of Westminster, S.C., Kristen Longmire of Greenwood, S.C., Gloria Lynn Fletcher, of Dayton, Ohio; great-grandchildren, John Chmelar, Ethan Moss and Aaron Moss, all of Walhalla, S.C., Gail Chmelar, Columbia, S.C., Alyssa Taylor and Avery Taylor of Westminster, S.C., Jamie, Timothy and Cindy Fletcher, Ashley Roark and Chase Roark of Middlesboro; five great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Graveside services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the family plot at George Partin Cemetery at Frakes. Visitation is Tuesday, April 11, from 6-8 at Reece Funeral Home and Valley Chapel.

Frey, Mrs. Clara -a resident of Toledo, Ohio, formerly of Bell County, passed away Saturday, January 3, 2004 at the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, OH. She was born on June 27, 1918 in Bell County, the daughter of the late Roscoe Sizemore and Maggie Delph Sizemore.  She was a believer in the Pentecostal faith. She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers and sisters.  At the time of her death she was 85 years old.  She is survived by the following members of her family: Her husband, Clarence Frey of Toledo, OH; one son and daughter-in-law, Don and Pat Stewart of Toledo, OH; granddaughters, Cheryl & husband David Abalos, Donna & husband Chris Dashner; great-grandchildren, Krista Dashner, Michael Dashner, David Abalos Jr., Evan Abalos, Nicholas Abalos, Ryan Dashner and Nicole Dashner, and a host of other relatives, friends and loved ones. Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Frey were conducted on Tuesday, January 6, 2003 at Creech-Durham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Thea O. Carter officiating.  Burial followed in the Farris Cemetery at Gray, KY.  Pallbearers were: Evan Abalos, Nicholas Abalos, Chris Dashner, Chase Snyder, Ryan Dashner and David Abalos.  Creech-Durham Funeral Home in charge of all arrangements.

Frye, David -38, a resident of Pontiac, Michigan and formerly of Arjay, KY, passed away on Thursday, October 13, 2005 in Pontiac, Michigan.  He was born on April 13, 1967 in Bell Co. Kentucky, the son to the late Kenneth Frye and Mattie Miller Frye who survives.  He was a coal miner and believed in the Pencostal faith.  Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister Glenda Frye.  Left to mourn his passing are the following members of his family.  His mother, Mattie Miller Frye, a resident of Arjay, KY.  A loving father of Taylor Jessica Frye a resident of  Florida.  His brothers, James Larry Frye, Arjay, KY., Kenneth Frye, Jr., Arjay, Ky., Floyd Frye, Arjay, KY., Larry Frye, Pineville, KY.  Sisters, Mevelene (Billie) Carnes, Arjay, KY., Hazel (Donnie) Hensley, Pineville, KY., Sheila Frye, Middlesboro, KY., Pearl Frye, Middlesboro, KY. And a host of other friends and relatives and loved ones. Special thanks to nieces and nephews and aunt and cousins for their help in the expenses. Funeral services for David Frye were Tuesday at the Community Pentecostal Church at Arjay, KY. With Rev. Melvin Beverly and Rev. Fuson, Audrey M. -76, of   Fowlerville, MI formerly of Middlesboro, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2004 in Michigan. She was born December 8, 1927 in Tinsley, Kentucky the daughter of the late Fred McCrarey and Arie Hoskins McCarey. Preceding her in death:  sons Johnny Fuson and Davis Fuson, two brothers, Harold and Arthur McCarey; sister Vina Irene Spencer. Survivors include daughter Patsy (Art) Hughes of Fowlerville; one son Lonnie Fuson of Corbin, KY; eight grandchildren: Timothy Asher, Margaret Barrett, John Thweat, Rick Fuson, Carla Hamilton, Denise Collins, Michelle Wilbur, Sandra Hietman; six great-grandchildren; brother Fred McCarey and sister Christine Begley. Funeral services were held Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Shumate Funeral Home in Middlesboro.  Burial followed in the Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Shumate Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.

FUSON, BILLY DOUGLAS -, 64, of Pineville, passed away on Monday, April 25, 2005 in Huntsville, TN. He was born in Bell County, KY on December 10, 1939, the son of the late Robert K. and Florence Crawford Fuson. He was a member of the Centennial Baptist Church and had been a skidder operator for Raines Logging, In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, John L. Fuson. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Jackson Fuson, sons and their wives, George Robert and Sharon Kaye Fuson and Billy A. and Kimberly Ann Lawson Fuson; grandchildren, Tonya K. North, Tessa Nicole Buell, Alicia Knuckles, John Fuson and Curtis Townsel; great-grandchildren, Cameron Scott North and Alexia Nicole Buell; brothers and sisters and their spouses, Doris and Boyd Evans, George “Doe” and Barb Fuson, Deloris and Lonnie Anderson, Joyce and Shorty Templeton, Ken and Clara Fuson and Bobby and Carolyn Fuson, mother-in-law, Gladys Jackson, sister-in-law, Judy Lawson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends and neighbors. Fuson, Corrine Baker -50, of Siler, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2004, at the Pineville Community Hospital. She was born on December 14, 1953 in Bell County, the daughter of the late Arthur and Mae Gross Baker. She was a member of the Centennial Missionary Baptist Church and had been a postal worker, retiring in June, 2001. She enjoyed her family, cooking, couponing, flowers and birds. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, George Matt Baker. Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Johnny Fuson, children, Heather and Rick Johnson of New Tazewell, Michael and Dulcena Fuson, Shawn and Billie Fuson and Adam and Pam Fuson, all of Siler, grandchildren, Kyle Johnson, Ethan Fuson, Darren Fuson and Devin Fuson, brothers and sisters, Deloris Baker of Pineville, Bonnie and Lester Caldwell of Phillips Fork, Linda Baker of Whitley County, Harvey and Iva Baker of Ft. Fuson, Curtis A. -a resident of Pineville, Kentucky passed away Monday, August 15, 2005 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in LaFollette, Tenn.  He was born April 26, 1926 in Bell Co. Kentucky, the son of the late James Blaine Fuson and Andalice Miracle Fuson.  He was a veteran, a carpenter, and believed in the Baptist faith.  Other than his parents he was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Ray and Earl Fuson; 3 sisters, Virgie Carter, Shirley Hunter and Gertrude Hunter.At the time of his death he was 79 years old.  He is survived by the following members of his family: daughter; Debra & Gary Cinnamon of Pineville, Kentucky, 2 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; a sister Ada Baker and Nadeen Hunter both of Pineville, Kentucky; an uncle, Claude Miracle of Oakridge, Tennessee, and Aunt Mae Campbell of Lima, Ohio; a brother in law, Grant Hunter of Pineville, Kentucky and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Thursday at the Fuson Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Denny Hunter and Rev. Tommy Barnett.  The church choir will provide the music.  Pallbearers will be family and friends.  Interment will be in the Fuson Chapel Cemetery, Little Clear Creek, Kentucky.  Creech-Durham Funeral Home is in charge of Arrangements.
