Trustees of the Town of Paris:  "whereas the Trustees of Paris have vested in them 250 acres of land as land of by Laurence Protzman the then supposed proprietor at the Courthouse of Bourbon and are authorized to sell and convey the same in lots to the purchaser or purchasers, their heirs or assigns, agreeable to and by the authority of an act of Assembly entitled an act to amend an act which established the town of Hopewell in the County of Bourbon and for altering the name of said town passed the first day of November 1790 and one other act of the state of Kentucky passed the nineteenth day of December 1793 entitled an act appointing additional trustees to the town of Paris...."
