Amanda Sandlin, age 91 of Morris Fork, KY passed away Saturday, October 12, 2002 at the Lee County Constant Care in Beattyville, KY. Born May 19, 1911 in Breathitt County, she was the daughter of the late Sol and Elizabeth Morris Riley and the widow of Jerry Sandlin. She was a homemaker and a member of the Morris Fork Presbyterian Church. Survivors include two sons, Raymond and wife Mary Elizabeth Sandlin of Hamilton, OH, Clyde Dale and wife Ethel Sandlin of Middletown, OH; one daughter, Mary Ella and husband Roy Turner of Camden, OH; one brother, Alfred Riley of Freeman Fork; one sister, Doshia Neely of Tennessee; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Funeral services were Monday, October 14, 2002 at 1:00 p.m. at the Breathitt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Rule and Rev. Patrick Napier officiating. Burial followed in the Morris Fork Cemetery located at Morris Fork, KY. Breathitt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The Jackson Times, October 17, 2002
