William S. VanderMeer, Sr., of West Palm Beach, Florida and formerly of Frankfort, KY died on Tuesday, October 2, 2001. He was 68 years old.

His survivors include son, William S VanderMeer, Jr., of Louisville, KY; daughter, Rebecca Lee Beeler of Caineyville, KY; son, John B. VanderMeer of Covington, KY; sister, Mary Elizabeth of Hamilton, OH, and six grandchildren.

A visitation was held at Thomas L. Price Funeral Home in Florida on Saturday, October 6, 2001 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon and at Rogers Funeral Home, 507 W. 2nd St., Frankfort, KY on Sunday, October 7, 2001 from 2:00 p.m. - 5 p.m.

In lieu of flowers contributions in his memory may be made to Buckhorn Foundation, 116 Buckhorn Lane, Buckhorn, KY, 41721. "For the care of the Morris Fork Church."
