CARROLLTON - Horace J. Yelton, 70, of Carrollton, died Saturday, August 10th. His widow, Florence Biddle of Carrollton, a son, Kenzie Yelton of Louisville, a daughter, Nelda Griffith of Carrollton and six grandchildren survive. Mr. Yelton was born March 23, 1898 in Pendleton County but had lived in Carroll County most of his adult life. He was an employee of Gulf Oil at the time of his death. He was preceded in death by a son, Kermit Yelton. The funeral will take place 11 a.m. Tuesday at Graham funeral Home.
