Pallas Wesley
LIBERTY - Pallas Wesley, 69, of Liberty died Saturday at his home.
Born Feb. 7, 1927, in Casey County, he was the son of Mary Vanhook Wesley of Liberty and the late Hugal Wesley. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II and a retired Columbia Gulf station operator.
Survivors include his wife, Helen Durham Wesley; two daughters, Mary Bryant of Liberty and Yvonne Beam of Bardstown; a son, Dennis Wesley Sr. of Liberty; two brothers, Archie Wesley of Arlington, Texas, and Bob Wesley of Liberty; two sisters, Eva Wilkinson of Liberty and Ella Mae Brown of Calvary; eight grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be 1 p.m. Monday at Willow Springs Methodist Church by the Rev. Jimmy Wesley. Burial will be in Willow Springs Cemetery.
Visitation is 6-9 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home.

John L. Asbury
MORELAND - Services for John L. Asbury, 74, Hustonville, will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at W. L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Tom Burchett. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
He died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Sept. 28, 1922, in Casey County, he was a son of Bertha Neaves Asbury of Indiana, and the late Luther Asbury. He was a retired employee of Hester Feed Store and a farmer. He was a member of House of Praise Mission.
Additional survivors include his wife, Flora Lane Asbury; four daughters, Modene Asbury and Phyllis Pendygraft, both of Junction City, Loraine Darland, Harrodsburg and Lyda Asbury, Hustonville; a son, Gilbert Asbury, Hustonville; five brothers, Charlie, Grover, Edward, Vernon and Chester Asbury, all of Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be John and Jason Asbury, Scott and John David Pendygraft, Stanley and Dale Phillips and Dawson Sears.
Honorary pallbearers are Estill Payton and David Payton.
Visitation is after 4 p.m. today.

Lonnie Elliott
WILLIAMSTOWN - Lonnie Elliott, 64, Knoxville-Gardnersville Road, died Saturday at his home from complications of cancer.
Born May 31, 1932, in Casey County, he was retired after 35 years from National Distillery Co. of Cincinnati. He was the son of Gertrude Salyers Bastin of Waynesburg and the late Fred Elden Elliott.
Additional survivors include his wife, Fastine Elliott Elliott, formerly of Casey County; two sons, Kalvin D. and Roger L. Elliott, both of Williamstown; two daughters, Velma Kay Bowen, Dry Ridge, Leslie Gail Griess, Williamstown; a brother, Raymond Elliott, Columbia; three sisters, Catherine Floyd, Waynesburg, Vina Clem, Cincinnati and Juanita Shelly, Yosemite.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Elliston-Stanley Funeral Home by the Rev. Paul Simpson Jr. Burial will be in the Hill Crest Cemetery, Dry Ridge.
Visitation will be 4-9 p.m. today at Mount Olive Christian Church in Casey County and Tuesday 4-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to the charity of one's choice.

Lucille C. Adams
LAYFAYETTE, Tenn. - Lucille Clarkston Adams, 81, Tompkinsville, died Friday at Monroe County Medical Center.
Born in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late George and Rose Brown Clarkston. She was a homemaker and the widow of Ike Adams.
Survivors include three daughters, Helen Wells, Harrodsburg, Ruth Ann Webb, Tompkinsville and Gladys Rearden, Red Boiling Springs, Tenn.; four sons, Joe Adams and Earl Adams, both of Harrodsburg, Robert Adams, Tompkinsville and James Adams, Red Boiling Springs; two sisters, Ruby Wright and Katerine Green, both of Lebanon; two brothers, Johnny Clarkston and William Clarkston, both of Lebanon; 33 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services were Sunday at Phillip Anderson and Sons Funeral Home, Red Boiling Springs, by Wayne Watson. Burial was in Elder Cemetery, Casey County.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Frank L. Beldon
LIBERTY - Frank Lee Beldon, 65, Gravel Switch, died Monday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born July 6, 1931, in Casey County, he was a son of the late John and Janie Johnson Beldon. He was a farmer and the widower of Ernestine Baker Beldon.
Survivors include three sons, John Beldon, Liberty, Robert Beldon, Gravel Switch and Franklin Phillips, Hazard; a daughter, Angela Propes, Gravel Switch; a brother, Lewis Beldon, Indianapolis, Ind.; a halfbrother, Charlie Beldon, Liberty; a halfsister, Ellen Kreimer, Indianapolis; five grandchildren; and six step grandchildren.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Bob Bausman. Burial will be in Baker Cemetery, Hazard.
Visitation is after 2 p.m. today.

Phillip R. Bowmer
LIBERTY - Phillip Ray Bowmer, 40, Bardstown, died Tuesday at Columbia Audubon Hospital.
Born July 22, 1956, in Casey County, he was a son of Vernon Bowmer, Bardstown, and Coleen Lawhorn Wheeler, Bardstown. He was a construction roofer.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Sammye Wheeler, Bardstown; a sister, Seleta Pangburn, Bardstown, and a grandchild.
Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Jesse Long. Burial will be in Trace Fork Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Delano Meeks, Jimmy Rodgers, Junior Gilpin, Mike Martin, Richard Pangburg and Harold Walker.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Thursday.

Annie M. Davis
LIBERTY - Services for Annie Mae Davis, 91, of Riverdale Apartments, will be at 2 p.m. today at Shady Grove Baptist Church by Daryl Coe. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
She died Friday at her home.
Born March 28, 1905, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late John and Sally Helm Overstreet. She was a homemaker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was the widow of Coy Davis and was preceded in death by a daughter, Velma Davis.
Survivors include four sons, Vernon Davis of Liberty, Deward Davis of Archdale, N.C., Calvert Davis of Finnytown, Ohio, and Larry Davis of Florence; five daughters, Mildred Cochran and Etwell Davis, both of Liberty, Fay Woodrum of Westchester, Ohio, Carol Vaughn of Dunnville and Teresa Combs of Cincinnati; one sister, Lucy Sinclair of Cincinnati; 29 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Howard T. Moore
LIBERTY - Howard Taft Moore, 87, of Hustonville Street died Friday at Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington.
Born Nov. 15, 1909 in Casey County, he was the son of the late William and Cora Branson Moore. He was a long-time educator in Casey County, having served as a school teacher, principal and superintendent. He belonged to the First Christian Church. He was the widower of Mary Rubarts Moore.
Survivors include one son, Charles Moore of Ross, Ohio; one brother, Jason Moore of Liberty; one sister, Flossie Sweeney of Liberty and two grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by Richard Easterling. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. today.

Elzie E. Brown
LIBERTY - Services for Elzie Ellen Brown, 88, East Hwy. 70, were scheduled for 1 p.m. today at Walnut Hill Baptist Church by the Revs. Clifton Cowan and Danny Bailey. Burial will be in Casey County Memorial Gardens.
She died Saturday in Liberty.
Born Dec. 7, 1908, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Levi and Maude Gage Lawless. She was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Baptist Church. She was the widow of Rev. Roosevelt Brown.
Survivors include a daughter, Opal Atwood, Somerset; five sons, Ernest Brown, Dillsboro, Ind., Marvin Brown, Louis Brown and Lester Brown, all of Liberty, and Otha Brown, Russell Springs; three brothers, Alfred Lawless, Danville, Ill., Sellis Lawless, Potomac, Ill., and R.B. Lawless, Liberty; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

John P. Elliott
WAYNESBURG - John Paul Elliott, 81, Fort Logan Extended Care, Stanford, died there Sunday.
Born Dec. 31, 1915, in Casey County, he was a son of the late William and Louvena Wall Elliott. He was a carpenter and a member of Mt. Olive Christian Church.
Survivors include two sisters, Thelma Elliott, Middletown, Ohio, and Martha Steigleman, Loveland, Ohio.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barnett and Demrow Funeral Home by the Rev. David Gambrel. Burial will be in Salyers Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.

Lois R. Luster
LIBERTY - Services for Lois Richardson Luster, 81, Cincinnati, formerly of the Willow Springs Community, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Willow Springs United Methodist Church by the Rev. David Eastham.
She died Saturday at Blue Ash Nursing Home, Cincinnati.
Born Nov. 11, 1915, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Jesse Porter and Willie Russ Phelps Richardson. She was a homemaker and the widow of Cleo Luster.
Survivors include two daughters, Gloria D. Wilson, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Sondra Kay Parsons, Breau Bridge, La.; a son, Larry Dale Luster, Louisville; a sister, Mary Terry, Cincinnati; a brother, Roscoe Richardson, Somerset; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday.

Hazel L. Tate
HARRODSBURG - Hazel Lee Tate, 82, Belmont Court, died Monday at Haggin Memorial Hospital.
Born Dec. 8, 1914, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Polk and Pearl Jones Webb. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Silver Bells Sunday School class. She was a member of Mercer County Senior Citizens.
Survivors include, a son, Jay Tate, Leesburg, Ala.; four daughters, Bonnie Richardson and Vergie Richards, both of Harrodsburg, Susie Merriman and Esther Carey, both of Burgin; 15 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Ransdell Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Mark Baldauff. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. today.

Willie L. Fox
STANFORD - The funeral for Willie Leo Fox, 78, of 310 Neals Creek School Road will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Fox Funeral Home. Bob Lemmon will officiate. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
He died Tuesday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 16, 1919, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Jim and Virginia Fox. He was a retired farmer and belonged to Stanford Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include his wife, Josie Marie Atwood Fox; five sons, Freddie, Marshall and Leonard Fox, all of Stanford, Kenneth Fox of Independence and John William Fox of North Vernon, Ind.; a daughter, Wilma Ann Napier of Hermitage, Ark.; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and seven step grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy, Stanley, Anthony and Kenny Ray Fox, Mike Warren, Marshall Lynn Napier, Ashley Phillip, Bobby Dugin and Jackie Hazlett.
Visitation is from 7-9 p.m. today.

MIDDLEBURG - Laura Belle Hixson, 63, of Middleburg died Wednesday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
Born April 20, 1933, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late William Creech Luster and Mollie Drye Luster. She was a housewife and a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, George Hixson; four daughters, Carolyn Toller and Marolyn Hines, both of Middleburg, Ann Wilder of New Jersey and Louise Hixson of Hustonville; four sisters, Lois Johnson of Hilliard, Ohio, Mary Bowman of Fredericktown, Mo., Naomi Silcott of Seaman, Ohio, and Marie Lanham of Middleburg; two brothers, Joe Luster of Cincinnati and Lewis Luster of Sabina, Ohio; and four grandchildren.
Graveside services were conducted today at Middleburg Cemetery by the Rev. Don McWhorter.
Bartle Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

George M. Byrd
HARRODSBURG - The funeral for George M. Byrd, 60, of 218 Hillcrest was conducted this afternoon at Alexander & Royalty Funeral Home by the Rev. Donnie Releford. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
He died Wednesday at his home.
Born Aug. 30, 1936, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Jacob and Delilah Byrd.
Survivors include two sons, Steve Byrd of Harrodsburg and Glenn Byrd of Lexington; two daughters, Beverly Robins and Judy Bartleson, both of Harrodsburg; four sisters, Thelma Lister of Harrodsburg, Aileen Grider and Lucretia Lane, both of Casey County, and Patsy Schobel of Danville; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Myrtle C. Combest
Myrtle Coffey Combest, 96, of Shelby Street, Junction City, died Friday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born Jan. 9, 1901, in Casey County, she was the daughter of the late Jason and Nannie Tillman Coffey. She was the widow of Wyatt Combest and was a former schoolteacher, homemaker and member of Junction City First Christian Church.
Survivors include a son, Jim Combest of Junction City; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two-great-great grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Preston-Pruitt Funeral Home with John Rasel officiating. Burial will be in Danville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation is 5-9 p.m. today.

LIBERTY - George ``Bud'' Cochran, 67, Brush Creek Road, Hustonville, died Saturday at home.
Born July 19, 1929, in Casey County, he was a son of Johnny and Ethel Bell Tabscott Cochran. He was a logger.
Survivors include two sisters, Sylvia Lynn and Patricia Lee, both of Liberty; three brothers, Iman Cochran of Hustonville, Frank Cochran and Roger Cochran, both of Liberty.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Revs. Wince Lee and Raymond Alstott. Burial will be in Tapscott Cemetery.
Visitation began 8 a.m. today.

MORELAND - Willie Elvin Lane, 83, Harrodsburg, died Saturday at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center.
Born May 9, 1913, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Lafe and Lizzie Gibson Lane. He was a retired farmer and a member of Hustonville Pentecostal Church.
Survivors include two brothers, James Lane and Jason Lane, both of Harrodsburg; three sisters, Mabel Herring of Harrodsburg, Minnie Luster and Flora Asbury, both of Hustonville.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Arthur Selch. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Casey County.

LIBERTY - Ewell N. Rogers, 66, Franklin, Ind., died Sunday in Franklin.
Born Feb. 7, 1931, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Louis and Elsie Emerson Rogers. He was a retired employee of Arvin Industries in Franklin.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Williamson Rogers; two daughters, Teresa Vinson of Shelbyville, Ind., and Debra Johnson of Franklin; three sons, Buell and Randy Rogers, both of Franklin, and Jimmy Rogers of Trafalgar, Ind.; two stepdaughters, Shirlene Thompson of Liberty and Yvonne Houghton of Naples, Fla.; two brothers, Alton and Glen Rogers, both of Trafalgar; 16 grandchildren and six step grandchildren.
Services will be 3 p.m. today at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home. Burial will be in Whited Cemetery.
Visitation is prior to service today.

MORELAND - Services for Ova Alice Russell, 62, Moreland, will be 2 p.m. Thursday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. Dale Denton. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
She died Monday at University of Kentucky Chandler Medical Center, Lexington.
Born August 31, 1934, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late W.A. and Mary Lou Adams Russell.
Survivors include two brothers, W.A. Russell Jr. of Waynesburg and Hoover Russell of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Lilian Jones of Moreland and Alberta Pruitt of Hot Springs, Ark. Visitation is after 4 p.m. today.

Talmadge R. Derringer
LIBERTY - Talmadge Russell Derringer, 67, Junction City, died there Tuesday.
Born June 2, 1929, in Casey County, he was a son of the late James and Ida Mae Hewitt Derringer. He was retired from Arvin Industries.
Survivors are his wife, Nettie Marie Derringer; two sons, Talmadge C. Derringer, Campbellsville, and Terry L. Derringer, Danville; three daughters, Patricia Statom of Junction City, Connie Posey of Louisville and Karen Atwood, Liberty; two brothers, Clifton Derringer, Topeka, Kan., and Rod Derringer, Monrovia, Ind.; six sisters, Martha Floy and Geneva Dolch, both of Cincinnati, Dotha Scott of Sacramento, Calif., Gracie Taylor of Whiteland, Ind., Velma Allen of Monrovia and Joyce Atwood, San Diego; and nine grandchildren.
Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Story. Burial will be in Caney Fork Cemetery.

STANFORD - Services for Sadie Pearl Durham, 65, Powell Street, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Robert Kiper. Burial will be in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.
She died Wednesday at home.
Born Jan. 31, 1932, in Casey County, she was a daughter of Sue Holt Burchett of Hustonville and the late Sam Burchett. She was a homemaker and the widow of Hollis Ray Durham Sr.
Additional survivors include three sons, Hollis R. Durham II of Kings Mountain, Ronald L. Durham of Stanford, and James T. Durham of Crab Orchard; two daughters, Linda L. Durham and Claudia M. Durham, both of Stanford; three brothers, William R. Burchett of Junction City, James C. Burchett of Hustonville, and Garnett Burchett of Lexington; five sisters, Josie Goins of Danville, Jewell Scott of Brooklyn, Ind., Piney Lane of Mooresville, Ind., Naomi Burchett of Junction City and Pamela Luster of Hustonville; and 10 grandchildren.

Ralph W. Carman
MORELAND - Ralph Waldo Carman, 86, Deltona, Fla., formerly of the Moreland area, Saturday in Deltona.
Born Feb. 11, 1911, in Casey County, he was a son of the late Orville and Augusta Waldner Carman. He was a retired Elliott Transportation Company employee and was a member of Deltona Baptist Church where he was a deacon for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Carrie Reid Carman; two daughters, Jean Carman of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Carol Carman of Atlanta, Ga.; two brothers, Dale Carman of Fayetteville, Ohio, and Junior Carman of Beech Grove, Ind.; a sister, Doris Peyton of Hustonville; a grandchild and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home by the Rev. E.M. Helton. Burial will be in Hustonville Cemetery.
Visitation is noon Wednesday until time of service.

HARRODSBURG - Services for Wallace Irene McQueary, 81, Belmont Court, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Alexander and Royalty Funeral Home by the Revs. Bobby Logue and Larry Harris. Burial will be in Poplar Hill Cemetery in Casey County.
She died Saturday at Central Baptist Hospital, Lexington.
Born July 26, 1915, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Earl and Amanda Carmichal Luster. She was a homemaker and a member of Antioch Methodist Church. She was the widow of Aubrey Clayton McQueary.
Survivors include three sons, George McQueary of Jeffersonville, Ind., Albert McQueary of Junction City, and Aubrey McQueary Jr. of Harrodsburg; five daughters, Audrey Foulk of Jeffersonville, Ind., Pauline Tyler of Mercer County, Diana Heinly of Valley Station, Effie Hamner of Lancaster and Dorothy Schlenker of La Grange; a brother, Jesse Luster; four sisters, Goldia Lopez of Lawrenceburg, Effie Gardner and Dorothy Fields, both of Harrison, Ohio, and Alma Sherrill of Yosemite; 28 grandchildren and several great- and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three infant children and a daughter, Deva Marie Bottom.
Pallbearers will be grandsons.
Visitation is 4-9 p.m. today and after 7 a.m. Tuesday.

LIBERTY - Hallie Mae Allen, 70, Cincinnati, formerly of Casey County, died Saturday in Cincinnati.
Born August 23, 1926, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Flaudia Wooldridge Wilson. She was a waitress at Country Kitchen in Cincinnati.
Survivors include her husband, Noble Allen Sr.; four sons, Noble Allen Jr., Floyd Allen, Louis Allen and Ronnie Allen; four daughters, Darlene Roy, Marlene Thomas, Brenda Lee, and Denise Allen; nine sisters, Leslie, Laura, Rosie, Lauren, Treva, Verthal, Edna, Norma Jean, and Willow Dean; five brothers, Lucian, Richard, Luther, Cleo and Chester Wilson; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home by the Rev. Daryl Coe. Burial will be in Gum Lick Cemetery.
Visitation is noon-2 p.m. Wednesday.

MIDDLEBURG - Services for Christine Carman Hixson, 84, Kings Mountain, will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Bartle Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.
She died Monday at Fellowship Home, Danville.
Born April 10, 1913, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late E.V. and Martha Falconberry Carman. She was a homemaker and a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Mack Jordan Hixson; two sons, Lucian C. Hixson of West Chester, Ohio, and Louis D. Hixson of Sunman, Ind.; a sister, Gustava White Patterson of Yosemite; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Wednesday.
Memorials may go to Hospice of Lake Cumberland or Heritage Hospice.

LIBERTY - Fannie Veatrice Hale, 98, Cincinnati, died Wednesday at Galbrath Health Center, Cincinnati.
Born April 16, 1899, in Casey County, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Nanny Cochran Hale. She was a homemaker.
Survivors include two sisters, Pearl Murphy of Liberty and Audrey Littrell of Cincinnati.
Services will be noon Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home by the Rev. Jim Lynn. Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery.
Visitation is after 11 a.m. Saturday.

PERRYVILLE - Myrtle Mae Hatchel Wheeler, 85, Community Center Drive, Hustonville, formerly of Gravel Switch, died Thursday at Charleston Health Care Center.

Survivors include a son, Larry Wheeler of Hustonville; three sisters, Alfie Qualls of Hustonville, Rosie Turpin of Bedford, Ind., and Artie Sheet of Louisville; a brother, Charlie Hatchel of Gravel Switch; and three grandchildren.

She was the widow of Cephas C. Davis.

She was a homemaker who specialized in quilt-making and a member of Mount Olive Christian Church. She was the widow of Matthew Caudill. She was predeceased by two sons, Otha Ray Caudill and Franklin D. Caudill.
Survivors include five daughters, Edna Mae Ware and Deva Jean Jones, both of Waynesburg, Effie Marie Sims of Kings Mountain, Mary Nancy Moore of Cincinnati and Darlena B. Survivors include his wife; Vivian Ellsworth Hochstrasser; a son, Chester R. Hochstrasser of Centerville, Ala.; three daughters, Diana S. Hochstrasser of Annaconda, Mont.; two brothers, Jack and Lynn Hochstrasser; both of Montana; and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Earl Hochstrasser; and a daughter, Wanda M. Hochstrasser.

Born May 14, 1914, in Casey County, he was a son of the late C.T. and Wavie True Jeffries. He was a farmer and a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church, Casey County.

Survivors include three daughters, Roberta Price, Vina Wethington and Janet Davis, all of Liberty; a son, David Wethington of Cincinnati; a brother, T.V. Wethington of Liberty; two sisters, Genevieve Antle and Patricia Hash, both of Campbellsville; 14 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Bradford Wethington.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bernard Catholic Church by the Rev. Joseph Hall.

Born Dec. 10, 1931, in Liberty, he was a son of the late Cleo and Ruby Allen Moore. He was a retired employee of Casey County Road Department, an Army veteran and a member of Craftsman's Masonic Lodge 722 and Veterans of Foreign Wars.

LIBERTY - Lewis E. Sharp, 82, of Allen Street, died Friday at Casey County Hospital.
Born Oct. 16, 1915, in Casey County, he was the son of the late Lafe and Ella Games Sharp. He was a former director of McKinney-Brown and Bartle funeral homes. He was a former employee of the Kentucky Highway Department and bus driver for the Casey County School System. He belonged to Liberty First Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Christine Thompson Sharp; one son, Garland Sharp of Liberty; one daughter, Carol Gregory of Liberty; five sisters, Flossie Haggard, Mabel Emerson and Etwell Floyd, all of Liberty, Nettie Fair of Somerset and Minnie Lawhorn of Clinton, Ind.; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

STANFORD - Willie Durham, 87, of Old Somerset Road, died Wednesday at Danville Center for Health and Rehabilitation.
Born Aug. 14, 1910, in Casey County, he was a son of the late James M. and Ida Wilson Durham. He was a mechanic for Lincoln County Board of Education for 25 years, and a maintenance employee of the Lincoln County courthouse for 15 years. He was a member of Blue Lick Baptist Church and was a Kentucky Colonel.
He was the widower of Verda M. Poppelwell Durham. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Guin Smallwood Brooks.
Survivors include two sons, Robert Durham of Waynesburg and Marion W. Durham of Stanford; and a daughter, Jacquline Foley of Stanford; two brothers, Johnny Durham of Stanford and Clifton Durham of Indianapolis; a sister, Gertrude Brent of Stanford; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Service will be 2 p.m. Sunday at Fox Funeral Home by the Rev. Gary Story.

Melear of Louisville; two brothers, Carl Russell of Hustonville and Johnny Russell of Danville; two sisters, Nancy R.
