Preston Cochran was the father of Sarah & a Gillock; Alex who had four sons, 
John and Robert; Clement & a Vanoy; Sam & Polly Ann King, and Lewis & Nancy 
Oliver.

To Clement (Clem) and his wife were born: Broaddus & a Kemp; Logan & a Lynn; 
Florence & a Sanders, and Loyd & Belle King. To Loyd was born: Talmage & a 
King; Ephraim & a Clarkston; Cecil & an Atwood; Rose & Lewis Lynn; Beatrice & 
an Atwood; Jessie & an Allison, and Melvin & a Fallowwell.

To San and Polly Kidd were born: Brice, who married Cerena Peyton(children: 
Fronnie, Dowell, Mae, Permelia, and Polly Ann); Preston & Prudy Lynn 
(children: San__, Anna Coontz, Belle, Bettie, Ellen, Anna, John & Polly Lynn; 
Isaac & Laura Cummins; Ed & a Crawley, and Bennett & Minnie Lynn).

The children of Sam and Anna are: Sam, Decie, Mary Jane, George, Enoch, and 
Leslie. E. Beeler is son to Bennett & Minnie. The other sons of Sam and Polly 
were Bill & a Lewis; John & Sarah Cox (children: Tom, Matt, and Sam); 
Jefferson & Cortha Pemberton (children: John Lewis, Everett, Ida); the last 
son being Asa & Nancy Cox (children: Bill, John George, and Bud).

The children of Lewis, son of Preston, were: Bill & Mary Ann Lanham first 
(children: Alice & J. Spears and Laura & Coleman Luster). His second wife was 
a Kimball (children: Joe & a Randolph; Oscar & M. Frederick; John & Ollie 
Helliars (child: Nellie); George & Pearl Gordon; Stephen; Kate & Bob King; 
Nannie & Al Hale; Angeline & J. Wilkinson; Sally first married S. Lynn later 
M. Delee.

George W. & Mary E. Lanham (son: Hardin & Nannie Peyton, daughters: Rosie & 
Ed Grubbs; Minnie & Bill Kirk; Milford & Cerene Grubbs); Isaac (Ike), another 
son of Lewis & Elizabeth Lanham (children: Jasper & a Kemp; John & a Norris; 
San; Ed & a Kemp); (Jasper has Ollie, Myrt, Martha, Bertha, Pearl). Jasper 
who married a Kimball was another son of Lewis as was Isom & Rebecca Short; 
Tilda & a Carpenter; Margaret & Bob King; Polly Ann & J. Martin. (To Jasper 
and Kimball were born; Everett, Charley, Nancy, Mary, Arthur); Charley & 
Pearl Lynn, later Bertha Fites. Everett & Mary Shearin; Arthur & Irene 
Russell; Nancy & Clell Randolph; Mary & Matt Sharp.

To Isom and Rebecca were born: George & Lenore Atwood (children: Ada, Bessie, 
George Roe, Floyd, Kelsay, Nancy, Estelle, Doris, and Helen).

John, son of Isom & a Fites; Alma did not marry; Monroe & Francis Jeffreys 
(children: Cecil, Lois, Ruby, and Ruth). Tilda, Margaret and Polly Ann, 
daughters to Lewis married Carpenter, Bob King, and Jim Martin, respectively.
