     Bennett Lawhorn settled at Lawhorn Hill in 1812.  His children were
Lewis, Benjamine, Nathaniel, George, and Nancy.  
     Benjamine married three times, F. Knight, Ann Richardson, and Sophia 
Murphy. The children of Benjamine were America, Virginia, William, Jesse & 
Jane Williamson; John A. & Mary Harris; Sallie & R. Wesley; Millie & Sam 
Terry; Maria & J. Sanders; Martha & Geo. Davis; James H. &. Jane  Leathers; 
Benjamine; Rube & Nan Mills; Eliza & J. M. Terry; Geo. Riley & Eva Rubarts;
Wolford; David & Ruscilla Cain; Matilda & Eli Haggard; Henry Clay; and
Tom J. & a Lee; also Phoebe Brown, also Lottie Ellis.  
     The children of Tom J. were Lucy & B. Shell; Buck & Linnie Cundiff; 
John; Ray & Della Overstreet; Herbert. Oscar was the son of David. He 
married E. Jeffries (children: Opal, Othel, Maurine, Davy, and Ralph).  
     The children of Rube and Nan were George & Lena Lee (children: Herbert, 
Lawrence, John, Dollie, Alice, Myrtie, James, Frank, Jack, and Charles) ; 
James & a Lay (children: Charles and Clarence) ; Lyle & J. Minnox; Charles 
& Bertha Evans (children: Opal and John).  
     The children of George Riley were Ben & Clara French  children: Vivian, 
Bernice, Donald, Bennie); Lydia & Wess Brown; Elsie & F. Roberts; Nannie & 
T. Roberts; Jason & G. Miller; Ruby; Clell & Della Tucker; Wallace; Beckham; 
John; Roy; Della.  
     The children of James H. were Jesse & E. Ellison (children: Mary J:, 
Laura, Lecta, Ed.) ; Manda; William A. & Montie [Maona] Anderson (children: 
Chas. F. & Mabel West; Katie & S. 0. Powell; Jas. C. & Rosa Walner; Clyde & 
C. Lane; J. Sherman & Dorothy Riggs; William Beckham & Meacie Estes; Talitha 
& Lester Lever. (Note: the children of Chas.  F. were Chas.  F., Jr., and
Jewell & J. Dutro.  The children of James C. and Rosa were Alford,
