Linda Bain

 

          Linda Faye Bain, 59, of Pleasureville, died Thursday, September 13, 2001 at Audubon Hospital, Louisville.  She was the daughter of the late William and Edna Nelson Bennett, a retired employee of GE and a member of the Bethlehem Baptist Church, Mt. Eden.

            She is survived by one son: Daniel Lee McIntire, Mt. Washington; one daughter: Anita J. Nation, Mt. Vernon; one brother: Bobby Bennett, Shelbyville; four sisters: Nan Jordan and Ann Chisholm, both of Pleasureville, Connie Stivers and Sheila Stivers, both of Bagdad; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 15th at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Eddie Nelson officiated, assisted by Danny McIntire.  Burial was in the Defoe Cemetery.

Nancy Ball

 

          Nancy Lee Fugate Ball, 69, of Bedford, died November 7, 2012 at her home.  She was the daughter of the late Evertt Fugate and Martha Fugate.

            She is survived by her daughter, Tambra Lee Ball Fox, Bedford.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 13th at Antioch Baptist Church.  Bro Clint officiated.  Interment was in the Campbellsburg Cemetery.  Ransdell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Lloyd T. Banta

 

          Lloyd T. Banta, 68, of Shelbyville, died Friday, January 7, 2004, at his residence.  He was a native of Defoe, the son of the late Boyd and Lula Fink Banta, a U.S. Army Veteran, a construction worker, and a member of the Baptist faith.

            He is survived by his wife: Viola Eldridge Banta, Shelbyville; one daughter: Carolyn Brown, Pendleton; one brother: Marvin Banta, Pleasureville; two sisters: Ruth Ellegood and Anna Mary Eldridge, both of Pleasureville; six grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Sholar Funeral Hoame, Pleasureville, was in charge of arrangements.

Ralph Banta

 

          Ralph Banta, 73, of Eminence, died Monday, November 12, 2001 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.  He was the son of the late William and Ethel Rucker Banta, a U. S. Army Veteran of WWII, a retired truck driver at O’Nan Transfer for 26 years and a member of the Union Baptist Church.

            He is survived by three daughters: Barbara (Carl) Garrett, Waddy, Karen Broughton, Eminence, and Velda (Phil) Imel, Cropper; two sons: Cecil Banta, Pleasureville and Jerry Banta, Eminence; three sisters: Iona (Raymond) LeCompte, Frankfort, Shirley (Donnie0 Hayden, Hatton and Virginia (Roy) Stone, Finchville; three brothers: Gerald Banta, Pleasureville, Lewis Banta, Bellmount, IA and Robert Banta, Cropper; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Francis Banta and two sons, David and Ralph, Jr.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 14th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Hayward Yeary, Pastor of the Union Baptist Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Cropper Cemetery.

Viola Banta

 

          Viola A. Banta, 68, of Eminence, died Sunday, May 15, 2005 at her residence.  She was a member of the Church of God, Eminence, a waitress, a health care provider, and the daughter of the late Avery and Mattie Aldridge Eldridge.

            She is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Holland, Eminence; one sister: Kay Culton, Bedford; one brother: James Avery Eldridge, Port Royal; one grandson: one great-grandson and several nieces and nephews.

            A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville, was in charge of arrangements.

Sam C. Barnett

 

          Sam C. Barnett, 70, farmer and former school teacher and merchant at London, KY died of a heart attack Saturday night at his home in Cropper, where he had lived the past twenty-four years.

            He was the Sunday School Superintendent at the Cropper Christian Church for fifteen years, a member of the Shrine and a 32nd degree Mason.

            He is survived by his wife: Jessie Sparks Barnett; four daughters: Mrs. Marvin Wells, Mrs. Roy Jeffries and Mrs. Charles Downs, all of Louisville, and Miss Anne Barnett, Cropper; two sons: Charles L. Barnett, Pleasureville, operator of Barnett’s Farm Supply, and James Robert Barnett, in the Army; two sisters: Mrs. Sara Ross, Nashville, and Mrs. B. M. Benge, London, and a brother: Henry Barnett, London.

            Funeral services were conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at the Cropper Christian Church with burial in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.

John Bartley, Jr.

 

          John Willie Bartley, Jr., 67, of Pleasureville, died Monday, January 28, 2002 at Jewish Hospital Shelbyville.  He was a native of Bardstown, the son of the late John William and Mary Cecil Bartley and a production worker for Ford Motor Company.

            He is survived by two sons: Tim Bartley, Eminence, and Darrin Bartley, Defoe; two daughters: Gina (James) Bohannon, Campbellsburg and Julie (Daryell) Franklin, Pleasureville; three brothers: B. J. Bartley and William O. Bartley, both of Bardstown, and James M. Bartley, Greensburg, PA; five sisters: Tootsie (J.T.) Cecil, Bardstown, Ethel (Frank) Werner, Louisville, Lorene Downs, Mt. Washington, Phoebe Haas, Connecticut and Elizabeth Riggs, Jeffersontown; eight grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. 

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, January 31st, at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Michael Duncan, Pastor of the Eminence Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Father Bill Bowling of St. John Chrysostom Church.  Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Harold Bates

 

          Harold Bates, 68, of Lexington, formerly of Pendleton, died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at his residence.  He was the owner/operator of Bates Trucking, the son of the late Clyde Bates and a member of the Sligo Baptist Church.

            He is survived by three sons: Harold Greig Bates and Matt Stuart Bates, both of Louisville and Dann Todd Bates, Lexington; his mother: Lonnie Pearl Bates, Las Vegas; NV, two brothers: Howard Bates, Nashville and Larry Bates, Louisville; one sister: Barbara Bates, Las Vegas, NV, step-mother: Rosetta Bates and two granddaughters.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 4th at Arch L. Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange.  Rev. Monte Wilkinson and Ed Monheimer, Southland Christian Church, officiated.  Interment was in the Sligo Cemetery.

Henry G. Batterton

 

          Henry Grafton Batterton, 68, formerly of Henry County, died Thursday, November 15, 1962 at his home in Ventura, CA.  He had been in ill health for several years.

            He is survived by his wife: Della Batterton, a daughter: Dorothy, of Ventura; two sisters: Edith Paul, Louisville and Mary McGowan, Pleasureville; two brothers: Eddie Batterton, Bethlehem and Charlie Batterton, Harrodsburg.

            Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday from Carroll’s Funeral Home in Ventura.  Interment was in the Ventura Cemetery.

Gene Batts

 

          Gene C. Batts, 41, of Pleasureville, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at his residence.  He was a correctional officer with the Commonwealth of Kentucky and a member of the Pleasureville Fire and Rescue since 1979 and currently served as fire chief.

            He is survived by his wife: Kim Banta Batts, Pleasureville; one son: Josh Batts, Pleasureville; one daughter: Kristen Batts, Pleasureville; his mother: Martha Ann Smith, Pleasureville; one brother: James Simpson, Pleasureville and one sister: Lori Batts, New Castle.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 22nd at the Pleasureville Fire House.  Rev. Mike Huff, Chaplain of the Pleasureville Fire and Rescue Department, officiated, assisted by Howard Lee Byers.  Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

          Lewis Edward Batts, 63, of Pleasureville, died Monday, November 12, 2001 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Roy Milton and Ethel Kemp Batts, owner of Batts’ Barber Shop, Pleasureville, and a member of the Living Waters Church, Shelbyville.

            He is survived by his wife: Anita Batts, Pleasureville; one son: Mark Batts, Pleasureville, one daughter: Gena Newcom, Shelbyville ansd one granddaughter.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, November 15th at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Bro. Joel League, Pastor of the Living Waters Church, Shelbyville, officiated.  Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Kenneth Dell Bell

 

          Kenneth Dell Bell, 43, of Pleasureville, died Sunday, August 1, 2004 at Kindred Hospital, Louisville.  He was a carpenter, a farmer, and the son of the late Quinten Bell.

            He is survived by his wife: Sherry L. Bell; his mother: Marry Bell and one brother: Larry Bell, all of Louisville.  He was preceded in death by one sister.

            Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 4th at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. Nick Coleman, Rev. Ed Berry and Rev. Benny Phelps officiated.  Interment was in the Sulphur Cemetery.

Shelia Bennett

 

          Shelia Harley Bennett, 56, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, March 28, 2002 at her residence.  She was a native of Eminence, the daughter of the late James Fred and Ethel Spurr Harley, a homemaker, and waitress and attended Olive Branch United Methodist Church.

            She is survived by one daughter: Hope Reese, San Antonio, TX; three brothers: James Harley and Terry Harley, both of Frankfort, and Melvin Harley, Shelbyville; and one sister: Betty Sizemore, Cadiz.

            Graveside services were held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, March 30th at the New Castle Cemetery.  Rev. Jerry Shelly officiated.  The Hall-Taylor Funeral home, Shelbyville, was in charge of arrangements.

Ruby Bentley

 

          Ruby Charlotte Morgan Bentley, 78, of Pendleton, died Thursday, March 21, 2002.  She was a native of Trimble County, the daughter of the late James Wesley and Margaret Ann Stark Morgan, a billing clerk at Dixie Laundry Dry Cleaning, Louisville, a homemaker and a member of the Covington Ridge Baptist Church.

            She is survived by three sons: James Thomas Bentley, Bruce Edward Bentley, both of Pendleton, and Benjamin Ernest Bentley, Kodak, TN; four daughters: Charlotte (Stanley) Wakefield, Shelbyville, Margaret (Gayle) Pyles, Mabel Lee (Charles) Parrish, both of Bedford and Linda (Donald Ballard) Callis, Sulphur; one sister:” Anna Lee Morgan, Pendleton; one brother: Wesley Thomas Morgan, Shelbyville; twelve grandchildren; one step-grandson; four great-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert S. Bentley.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 24th, at Ransdell Funeral Home, Bedford.  Bro Harold Barnes and Bro. Earl Wayne Perry officiated.  Burial was in the Sligo Cemetery.

Arthur W. “Bud” Berry

 

          Arthur W. “Bud” Berry, 62, of Port Royal, died Monday, June 10, 2002 at his residence.  He was the son of the late Chester A. and Betty Norwood Berry, Jr.  He retired after 34 years as an environmentalist with the Commonwealth of Kentucky, was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran and a member of the Port Royal Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Pat Taylor Berry, Port Royal; two sons: Gilbert Dwayne Berry, Mt. Washington and Jeffrey Allen berry, Port Royal; one sister: Patricia Ann Lynch, Frankfort; two brothers: Phillip N. Berry, Campbellsburg and James G. berry, Owenton; two grandsons: Chad Dewayne Berry, Honolulu, Hawaii and Kyle Daniel Berry, Mt. Washington.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 12th at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Rev. Carl Rucker, Pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Wendell Berry, Port Royal.  Interment was in the Port Royal Cemetery.

          Gene “Sparky” Berry 76, of Port Royal, died Sunday, October 28, 2012, at the Green Valley health and Rehab Center.  He was the son of the late John D. and Mary T. Mertz Berry.

            He is survived by his wife: Sandra Ogburn Berry, Port Royal; two daughters: Donna Berry Oullette and Susie Berry Boyer, both of Port Royal; and one son: Mike Berry, Port Royal.

Willanna Bland

 

          Willanna E. Bland, 70, of Louisville, died Saturday, March 2, 2002 at Caritas Medical Center, Louisville.  She was a native of Henry County, the daughter of the late Garner and Lillie Mae Roberts Johnson, a nursing assistant at Britthaven-South Nursing Home and a member of the Kosmosdale Baptist Church.

            She is survived by her husband: Ralph M. Bland, Sr., Louisville; two sons: Ralph Bland, Jr. and Michael W. Bland; one daughter: Sharon J. Hiser; one sister: Betty J. Newsom, Panama City, FL; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7th, at Hardy Funeral Home-Valley Chapel, Louisville.  Bro. Jacky Newton officiated.  Burial was in the Bethany Cemetery.

Samuel Booher

 

          Samuel Z. Booher, 72, of Smithfield, died Monday, November 5, 2012, at his residence.  Son of the late William and Mabel Thompson Booher, Sam was a U. S. Army Veteran, serving in the 101st Airborne Division, He served as the State Adjutant for the Disabled American Veterans, Commander of the Henry County DAV Chapter 155, and a member of the New Castle Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Carolyn Lockwood Booher, Smithfield; two daughters: Tish (Tim) Stewart, New Castle and Tina (Danny) Spencer, Smithfield; one son: Dewayne S. (Liesa) Booher, LaGrange; one brother: Bobby (Carol) Booher, Pigeon Forge, TN; seven grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and one great-grandson.  He was preceded in death by two sisters, Laura Mae Barker and Linda Faye Hicks.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8th, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.  Dr. Dave Charlton officiated.  Interment was in the New Castle Cemetery.

Louis E. Booth

 

          Louis E. Booth, 74, formerly of Henry County, died at his home in Louisville, at 11:30 p.m. Saturday, December 9, 1961.  He retired four years ago after forty years as a blacksmith for the L&N Railroad.  He was a member of the South Louisville Christian Church.

            Survivors include his wife: Sally Kirk Booth; one daughter: Virginia Meador, Louisville; one granddaughter: Shirley Meador, Louisville; one half-sister: Mrs. Ralph Stivers, Pleasureville; one step-daughter: Madge McGary, Frankfort and five step-sons: Orville Dunavan, Wilbur, Perry, Thomas and Joseph Kirk.

            Funeral services were conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at O. D. White and Sons Funeral Home, Louisville.  Burial was in the Pleasureville, Cemetery.

Charles Boyd, Sr.

 

          Charles Boyd, Sr., 77, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, May 16, 2002 at Crestview Health Care Center Shelbyville.  He was a native of Shelby County, the son of the late Clark and Mary Logan Boyd, a Baptist, a farmer, and an operator of Cross Keys Lake.

          He is survived by his wife: Ruby White Boyd, Shelbyville; two sons: Charles F. Boyd, Jr. and Robert L. Boyd, both of Campbellsburg; two daughters: Darlene Shelburne, Taylorsville and Linda Tindall, Shelbyville; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday May 20th at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Rev. Doug Boyd and Rev. Bill Brumley officiated.  Burial was in the Grove Hill Cemetery.

Mona Brannan

 

          Mona H. Brannan, 81, of St. Petersburg, FL died Saturday, November 2, 2002 at the home of her son, Gregg in Gainesville, FL.  She was a native of New Castle, the daughter of the late Sandy and Nellie May Elston Mefford and a clerical clerk.

            She is survived by two sons: Gary Brannan, Lutz, FL and Gregg Brannan, Gainesville, FL and six grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene.

            The body was cremated.  Clearwater Funeral Home , Dunedin, FL was in charge of arrangements.

Bradley Brent

 

          Bradley Turk Brent, 52, of Campbellsburg, died Tuesday, November 13, 2001 at Riverside County Hospital, California.  He was a native of LaGrange, the son of the late Lawrence Roscoe Brent, a truck driver for Bennett Motor Express for 20 years and a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his mother: Burnadean Turk Brent, Campbellsburg and two uncles.

            Funeral services were held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, November 16th, at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. Russell Winn officiated.  Interment was in the Campbellsburg Cemetery.

Helen Brent

 

          Helen B. Brent, 92, of Campbellsburg, died suddenly Monday, January 21, 2002 at the Homestead Nursing Center, New Castle.  She was a native of Philpot, the daughter of the late Estill and Gertrude Berry, a school teacher for 35 years, a member of the Campbellsburg Woman’s Club and a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School.

            She is survived by her husband: Roy W. Brent, Campbellsburg; two sons: Frank A. Brent, Campbellsburg and Roy W. Brent, Jr., Nairobi, Kenya; one sister: Dorothy Suter, Campbellsburg; and four grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 26th, at the Campbellsburg Baptist Church.  Rev. Russell Winn, Pastor of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church, officiated, assisted by Rev. Carl Rucker, Pastor of the Port Royal Baptist Church, and Dr. V. David Cooper, Pastor of the Campbellsburg Christian Church. Burial was in the Campbellsburg Masonic Cemetery.

Louise Brent

 

          Louise Hardesty Brent, 101, of Campbellsburg, died Saturday, January 27, 2001 at Tri-County Baptist Hospital, LaGrange.  She was a native of Henry County, the daughter of the late Charlie M. and Lucy Clark Hardesty and a homemaker.

 

            She is survived by three sons: Robert A. Brent, Pewee Valley, Don Brent, Frankfort and Jerry Brent, Campbellsburg; one daughter: Lucy B. Forbes, Edmonton; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Dewey Brent.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 29th at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. Carl Rucker and Rev. Russell Winn officiated.  Burial was in the Campbellsburg Cemetery.

Lucien Brewer

 

          Lucien D. brewer, 76, of Pleasureville, died Thursday, February 14, 2002 at Hospice and Palliative Care of Louisville.  He was a native of Shelby Count y, the son of the late Alex and Nettie Rucker Brewer, a WWII Army Veteran, a retired state government worker, owner of Six Mile Jamboree and a special deputy sheriff of Henry County.

            He is survived by his wife: Goldie Brewer, Pleasureville; one son: Kenneth Darrell Brewer, North Carolina; one daughter: Wanda Yost, Florida; one step-daughter: Ramona Gaines, Bethlehem; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 17th, at Sholar Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Rev. Carl Rucker officiated.  Burial was in the Defoe Cemetery.

Emma Broughton

 

          Emma Cathern Broughton, 72, of Sanford, FL, formerly of Shelby County, died Sunday, June 8, 2003 at the Central Florida Regional Hospital after a long illness.  She was a native off Henry County, the daughter of the late George William and Emma Kopp Kelley, a retired sales person for Office Depot, and a member of South Seminole Christian Church.

            She is survived by three daughters: Dr. Beverly Broughton and Barbara Lawson, both of Sanford and Brenda Sudduth, Lexington; one sister: Elizabeth Huffington, Lexington, IN; two brothers: Frank Kelley, Eminence and Charles Kelley, New Castle; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 11:00 a.m. June 12th at Prewitt Eminence Funeral Home.  Rev. E. Paul Perry, Pastor of Creelsboro Christian Church, Jamestown, officiated.  Cremation followed the service.

          James Walter “JB” Brown, 30, of Shelbyville, died Thursday, March 25, 2004, at his residence.  He was the son of the late Gary Allen Brown, Sr., a warehouseman at Alcan Packaging Ctr., and a member of the Waddy Church of Faith.

            He is survived by three sons: Wesley Brown, Emanuel Brown and Caleb brown, all of Campbellsburg; one step-son: Nicholas Jeffries; his mother: Helen Johnson Brown, Shelbyville; one brother: Gary brown, Jr., Shelbyville; three sisters: Bridgett Kirby, Augusta, GA, Bonnie Booker, Weatherford, TX, and Doris Green, Shelbyville; his fiancé: Jordanna Reid; and her daughter: Anna Janee King, both of Shelbyville.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 30th at Shannon Funeral Home, Shelbyville.  Rev. Bertha Brown officiated.  Interment was in the Brove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville.

William Brown

 

          William J. Brown, 84, of Turners Station, died Friday, May 17, 2002 at Tri-County Hospital, LaGrange.  He was the son of the late Frank and Naomi Brown, a carpenter, a farmer, and a member of the Turners Station Baptist Church.

            He is survived by his wife: Lena Florence Chilton Brown, Turners Station; three sons: James C. Brown and Paul Wayne Brown, both of Turners Station and Thomas Chilton Brown, Shelbyville; three daughters: Sue Collins, Finchville, Margie Ellis, Jeffersonville, IN, and Janice K. Stivers, Campbellsburg; one sister: Grace Harmon, Carrollton; eleven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

            Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 20th at Ransdell Funeral Home, Campbellsburg.  Rev. Robin Roberts officiated.  Burial was in the Carrollton Cemetery.

Larry Nelson Browning

 

          Larry nelson Browning, 16, of Pleasureville died Friday night as a result of an automobile accident.  He was a freshman at the Henry County High School.

 

            Survivors include his parents: Mr. and Mrs. Deward Browning, Pleasureville; two brothers: Marlyn and D. L. Browning, Pleasureville; three sisters: Geraldine Jennings, Cropper, Reba Harrod, Pleasureville and Miss Cordy Browning, Pleasureville.

            Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Monday at Thomas Funeral Home, Pleasureville.  Burial was in the Pleasureville Cemetery.

Eardist Buis, Jr.

         

          Eardist Buis, Jr., 17, of Pleasureville, died Friday night as a result of an automobile accident.

            Survivors include Mr. and Mrs. Eardist, Sr., Pleasureville; three sisters: Mrs. Tommy Kelley, Louisville, Mrs. Gayle Tingle, Shelbyville and Mrs. LeRoy Chesser, Shelbyville; and his grandparents: Mr. and Mrs. Clarner Buis and Mrs. James D. Watson, all of Pleasureville.

The funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Watson’s Chapel at Watson’s Chapel, Casey County.  Burial was in the Chapel Cemetery.

Ruth Burton

 

          Ruth Gates Burton, 102, of Atascadero, CA, died February 23, 2001 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Albert C. and Susie E. Gates and married Henry Morris Burton, a former resident of Sulphur.  She established a scholarship at the University of Kentucky for students from Henry County.

            She is survived by two sons: Phillip S. Burton and Allan C. Burton, both of Atascadero, CA; three grandchildren; two step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, six step-great-grandchildren and four step great-great grandchildren.

            Arrangements were by Chapel of the Roses in Atascadero with burial at the Santa Barbara Cemetery.

Rev. Lowell Buss

 

          Rev. Lowell W. Buss, 76, of Louisville, died Wednesday, October 31, 2012.  He was the son of the late Benhard and Esther Buss.

            He is survived by his children: Tim Buss and Leah Mull.

            Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 3rd, at Lutheran Church, Louisville.  The Heady-Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange, was in charge of arrangements.
