Goad Homestead

Photos of the original Goad Homestead built in 1802 By Peter Goad Sr, My GGGGrandfather The house was built from trees cut from the property . Nine people lived in this house. It is still used by the Harvey Family (current owners of the property)- they use it for holidays especially Halloween. This photo was taken in 1991 by Pat Holland. I was there in 2002 and it was still in amazing shape for its age.

Another view of the 2002 pic in the distance is one of the Harvey children's new home.

This is the home of David C Goad and Emma Katherine Stivers , grandson of Peter Goad Sr. This is about a mile or so from the original Cabin on the same property. Not sure when it was built.
