Across the road from the convenience store is Dude's Restaurant... great barbeque!

There used to be a service station next door, as seen in this photo, but it was closed down a few years ago.

Walnut Grove Road runs beside the restaurant, parallel to the parkway. It's just a short distance to Walnut Grove Cemetery.

Behind Dudes Restaurant is one of the great old barns found in the county.
