WILLIAM PICKETT, an old Virginian, settled on this creek [Boyds Creek] 
in an early day.  All his children that I knew anything about were 
George and William.  William left Barren at an early date; I don't know 
where he went.  George married a Miss Munday, remained in Barren County 
and raised a family.  The Esqr. William Pickett named above was his son.  
Another son was named Robert.
