NIMROD I. BUSTER was born November 10, 1842, in Wayne County, Ky., where he
was reared to manhood, and in 1876 removed to Boyle County, where he has
since retained his residence.  His father, Charles H. Buster, also a native
of Wayne County and a member of the Christian Church, was a farmer, lost
sixteen slaves by the late war and died in 1872, aged about fifty years.
He was the son of Gen. Joshua Buster, of Virginia, who died in 1860.
Charles H. married Emerine, daughter of Nimrod and Nancy (Cecil) Ingram, of
Wayne County, of an old Virginia family, and their union resulted in the
birth of one child, Nimrod I.  Mr. Buster was united in marriage with Miss
Sallie, daughter of Alexander and Sophronia (Oatts) Babbitt, of Wayne
County, born 1851, and to them have been born Emma T., John S., Sophronia,
Nimrod and Everett.  In youth Mr. Buster attained a fair English education
at Somerset College.  He is a successful farmer, owning over 500 acres of
very productive and finely improved land, and on which he raises wheat,
hemp, tobacco and live stock.  He is member of the order of K. of H., and
in politics he is a democrat.
