WILLIAM M. PRICE, the lock keeper of Lock No. 1, on the Kentucky River, is
a native of Knoxville, Tenn., and was born June 18, 1852.  He is a son of
Isaac D. and Esther N. (Wright) Price, natives of Tennessee.  William M.
Price settled in Carroll County, in 1882, and in 1884 he married Miss
Mattie Eddings, of Henry County, Ky.
