Biographies, The Crittenden Press, 30 Nov 1928. Used with permission. A member of five generations of the family of Mrs. Sarah A. Enoch live within a short distance of each other in Marion. The five generations are Mrs. Enoch; Mrs. Enoch's daughter, Mrs. Fannie Sisco; Mrs. Sisco's son, Roy Sisco; Mr. Sisco's daughter, Mrs. Robert E. Swisher; and Mrs. Swisher's six months old son, Robert LeRoy Swisher. Mrs. Enoch, 85 years old, was born in Smith county, Tenn., August 26, 1843. In 1860 she was married to Benjamin A. Enoch, who served for three years in the Union army during the Civil War. In 1872, with five of their children, Mr. and Mrs. Enoch came to Kentucky in a covered wagon. They were the parents of twelve children, ten of whom are living. They are Mrs. L.N. Sisco, of Marion; Mrs. Nannie Hodges, of Colorado; W.B. Enoch, of Kansas; Mrs. Betty Jones, of Brownfield, Ill.; Mrs. John Walker, of Sikeston, Mo.; Mrs. Bennett Walker, of Sikestown, Mo; Mrs. W.W. Rice, of Marion; T.A., J.W. and R.H. Enoch, all of Marion. Mr. Enoch died in June, 1911. Mrs. Enoch has 65 grandchildren, 76 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
