The Marion Record, Marion, KY 7 Oct 1952. Used with permission. [Crittenden Co] AUBREY GRADY was born in 1905 in Crittenden county. After the death of his father, his family moved to Webster county. He attended 12 years of school in Webster county. In 1924, he returned to Crittenden county and was employed by his brother, C.W. Grady, in the grocery business for the next 18 years. After this he organized Aubrey Grady & Co. and has been operating this store since that time. Mr. Grady has served on the City Council, was president of the Kiwanis club, and is a member of the Citizens Health commission at the present time. Mr. Grady is a member of the First Cumberland Presbyterian church. He has also served on various boards of the Cumberland Presbyterian church at large. Mr. Grady was one of the original organizers of The Peoples Bank, and is presently chairman of the board of directors of this bank. He is chairman of the Crittenden County Republican commission. Mr. Grady is associated with the oil business, with interests in Henderson, Union, and Daviess counties. In 1926 he married the former Miss Fannie Herron of Webster county. They have one child, Mary Louise Grady. His hobbies are fishing, boating, swimming, golfing and square dancing. He is a firm believer in Marion and Crittenden county and has backed up that belief by investing in property in town and in the county.
