   Mrs. SARAH E. HURLEY, widow of Walker Hurley, is 87 years old.  She 
is a native of this county, where she was born in the year of 1840.
   Mrs. Hurley is the daughter of William and Rebecca Matthews Gregory.
She was married to Mr. Hurley in 1859.
   Mrs. Hurley is the mother of eight children and has 35 grandchildren
and three great grandchildren.
   Her children are W.M. Hurley and Mrs. Burnett Williams, of this
county; Mrs. Robert L. Williams of Sturgis, Ky.; George Thornton, 
Burnett and Oscar Hurley, and Mrs. Simon Stalion, of Illinois.
   Since her children are all married, Mrs. Hurley makes her home with
them.  She is very active for a woman of her age.
