Lawyers and Lawmakers of Kentucky, by H. Levin, editor, 1897. Published by Lewis Publishing Company, Chicago. Reprinted by Southern Historical Press. p.128. Franklin County. THOMAS NOBLE LINDSEY, the eldest son of General Daniel W. Lindsey, was born on the 10th of February, 1867, in Frankfort, where he still makes his home. His literary education was acquired in the University of Virginia and he was prepared for the legal profession by a course in the Cincinnati College of Law, graduating May 25, 1892, and on the 19th of the same month was admitted to the bar of Kentucky. He is now his father's assistant, while his efficient educational training, his capacity for work, and his ambition augur well for future success. He is a Knight Templar and a "Shriner." Daniel W. Lindsey, Jr., who was born December 24, 1871, was graduated at Princeton College, Princeton, Jew Jersey, with the class of 1894, and graduated at the Cincinnati College of Law May 27, 1896. The name Lindsey is inseparably connected with the history of the legal profession of Kentucky. For more than sixty years representatives of the family have been prominent at the bar. Grandfather, sons and grandsons have stood before judge and jury as exponents of that justice which is the inherent right of every individual and have, with truth, eloquence and power, won the cause for which they pleaded, and made for themselves a name that stands high on the roll of eminent Kentucky lawyers.
