Souvenir Edition, The Williamstown Courier, Williamstown, Ky, May 30, 1901, reprinted September 19, 1981 by the Grant County KY Historical Society. C. C. NESBITT is built just right for a life insurance insurance agent. He know how to talk and is not afraid to tell what he knows about his business. He was born in Grant county April 10, 1853, and is a son of F. S. Nesbitt and Elizabeth Boyers, and was raised in Williamstown. He attended the common schools and obtained a fairly good education. Early in life he went to work for himself as a clerk in a store and followed that line of business for a good many years. He was then for a while Deputy County Court Clerk and Deputy Circuit Court Clerk for a good long time and was then for ten years book keeper in the Bank of Williamstown and the Grant County Deposit Bank. At the death of Dr. W. G. Frank he was elected cashier of the Grant County Deposit Bank and served in that capacity for six years and more. When he retired from the bank he engaged exclusively in writing life insurance for the Equitable Company. He has been an active agent for the Company for more than twenty years and last year wrote them risks for more than $100,000.00. While he is the district manager he is also the local agent and personally drums Grant, Pendleton, Harrison and a few neighboring counties, while he has agents in many other counties. His business is growing all of the time. October 7, 1886, he was united in marriage to Miss Zella O'Hara, a daughter of Charlie O'Hara, of Dry Ridge. They located and have lived in Williamstown from that day to this. Two children, both girls, have blessed this union, Anna E. and Martha Corrine, both beautiful and precocious children. Mr. Nesbitt and his wife are both member of the Methodist church and he is an Odd Fellow. Nesbitt Boyers Frank O'Hara = none http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/grant/nesbitt.cc.txt
