Souvenir Edition, The Williamstown Courier, Williamstown, Ky, May 30, 1901, reprinted September 19, 1981 by the Grant County KY Historical Society. HOLLIE W. WEBB is the youngest child in a family of nine, seven boys and two girls, children of WIlliam F. Webb. He received a good education in the Williamstown school, but is not a graduate, having quit school a few months before graduation. Hollie was born February 21, 1876, and was reared on a farm, assisting his father in the shipping of cattle and other livestock, of which he is a heavy buyer. In politics, like all the rest of the Webb family in Williamstown, he is a Democrat, and has never voted any other way. About a year ago he was appointed Deputy Sheriff of Grant County, under his brother, G. S. Webb, which position he has held since with satisfaction all around. He is unmarried, but should opportunity offer, would no doubt be willing to exhange his state of single blessedness for one of connubial bliss.
