BUZZARD, Sr., farmer, P. O. Cynthiana. Daniel Buzzard, father of this gentleman, was born in Germany, in 1786; he was the son of Jacob and Anna Buzzard, both natives of Germany; Daniel emigrated to Harrison County, Ky., where he followed the occupation of farming to the time of his death, which occurred in 1843. His wife was Miss Anna Marshall, a native of Harrison County, and daughter of Ralph Marshall, a native of Virginia. She was born in 1793, and died in 1829. They were the parents of five children, one of whom was our subject, George W., who was born May 10, 1818, in Harrison County. He spent his earlier days with his parents in receiving an education and assisting in tilling the soil, which he has since followed, now having 230 acres of well improved land. He is a Democrat and an enterprising, public spirited citizen. Buzzard Marshall = VA Germany http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/harrison/buzzard.gw.txt
