TEBBS, farmer, P. O. Cynthiana; was born Dec. 21, 1851, son of James and Rebecca (Allen) Tebbs. Our subject received his education in the schools of his native county, and began life farming, at which he has continued throughout life, owning at the present time a fine farm of 148 acres of land, his place being known as "Stony Point." Oct. 16, 1877, he married Lizzie G. Ammerman, born Sept. 22, 1852, daughter of Wesley and Louisa (Bassett) Ammerman, all of Harrison County. Mr. Ammerman died in 1877, aged fifty-two years. Two children have been born to Mr. Tebbs, one of whom is living, Wesley H., born Dec. 27, 1878. Mrs. Tebbs is a member of the Christian Church and he is a Democrat and a Granger.
