Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 6th ed., 1887, Henry Co. WILLIAM KELLEY is a native of Kentucky, born in Henry County, near his present residence in 1851. He is one of four children born to Daniel and Mary (Hall) Kelley. He began life for himself without capital, but by industry and hard labor has placed himself in easy circumstances, and is now comfortably situated near Gest on 155 acres of land, all of which is well improved and well stocked. In 1875, he was united in marriage with Miss Sarah Giles, daughter of Duillie and Lucy Giles, of Owen County, Ky. One child has blessed their union. Dora, born in 1876.
