Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, 5th ed., 1887, Jessamine Co. KLEBER PRICE was born in Jessamine County, Ky., about 1815, and died in October, 1863. He was reared in Jessamine County, brought up on the farm, and educated in the common schools. He married Miss Elizabeth Neal Singleton, daughter of Mason and Fannie (Garnet) Singleton, natives of Jessamine County. Her grandfather, Manoah Singleton, was from Virginia. Mason Singleton was in the war of 1812. To Mr. and Mrs. Price four children were born, one living--William H. Three are deceased: James K., Ezra, and Lewis, who was shot in Nicholasville, Kentucky, by James Mitchell, some eighteen years ago. Mrs. Price was born in 1809. She owns 300 acres of land.
