A History of Masonry in Madison County, Kentucky 1812-1913, compiled and written by Robert R. Burnam, 1914, p. 52. 2. WILLIAM STONE's name appears as one of the representatives also. He was a brother of Samuel Stone, fifth Master of the Lodge. He removed to Missouri at an early date and I have been unable to find out when or where he died. He received his degrees in Richmond Lodge in 1814. Whether one only or both of these men served as Master I have no means of finding out, but think it most probable that each served six months. William Stone was a great uncle of Hon. William J. Stone, a distinguished son of Madison County, who is now and has been for years one of the Senators from Missouri. The Lodge made no increase during the administration of these Masters. Stone = MO http://www.rootsweb.com/~kygenweb/kybiog/madison/stone.w.txt
