Kentucky: A History of the State, Battle, Perrin, & Kniffin, ed. 8-B, 1887 Robertson County Dr. MARK INSKO, of Pin Hook precinct, Robertson County, Ky., was born in Bracken County in 1850, and is a son of Joseph and Nancy (Bratton) Insko, also of Bracken County. His grandfather, Daniel Insko, was a native of Kentucky, of German origin, and married a Miss McGahen. Mark Insko, after receiving the usual preliminary education, attended the Ohio Medical College, Cincinnati, in 1875 and 1876, was graduated and began practice in 1881 at Pin Hook. He married his first wife, Miss Permelia J. Daily, in 1873. This lady died in 1875, and in 1880 the Doctor married Miss Margaret E. Bratton, who died the same year. In 1885 he married Miss Rachel Bratton. The Doctor is the father of three children, viz: Margaret, by his second wife; Jessie N. and Edith T., by his last marriage. Dr. Insko is a Master Mason of Lodge 475, Pin Hook, is a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and is a Republican.
