PHILIP DRAKE was one of the pioneer ministers in Bracken Association.  
He appears to have been a preacher of respectable gifts; but very little 
is now known of him.  He was several times chosen to preach before the 
Association, at its annual meetings, and was a minister among its 
churches, at least as late as 1812.
