Garfield Baptist Church met Nov 14-1903 at o c pm and after devotional exercise 
by brothr Everet English the church was called to order by the moderater 
Brother M P Compton and after reding the minuts of the proceding meting the 
peice and fellowship of the church was called for all presant at peice reports 
of comitty was then called for the comity apointed Secure Cole for the winter 
report the cole delivered in the house the comity to secure a sesctor had not 
reported Brother Everet English was then unaimusly called for the ensuing year 
the comitty reort that he had acepted Sister Ida Renals was then granted a 
letter of dismisel from the church the doers of the Church wer then opened for 
reception of members and Brother Oliver Priest and Sister Cora Priest his wife 
and Sister Lena Whitworth and Sister Lena Denten came forward and wer received 
for Baptism and wer Baptised Nov 26-1903 by Brother James Levis of Ervington in 
lost run the following named brotheren wer apointed to meet with Clover Creek 
Church to form the new allocation. J L Johnson John Monedock Will Scott George 
Snider Charles Whitworth Church then closed to meet at regular meeting in Dec 
1903
