Glasgow; member of Clifton Baptist Church in Louisville KY Founder of the Gospel Troubadors and was 
known as the "Blind Troubador".

Wife: Ada Winers Basil
Son: Troy Nathan Basil and wife Linda of Glasgow Two daughters: Ellen Mae Harper and husband Kenny 
of Horse Cave KY and Mary Margaret Basil and son Jamie Clifton Basil of Glasgow
Daughter-in-law: Beverly Basil of Glasgow Nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren Four sisters: 
Virginia Bunnell of Hose Cave, Margie Houchens of Park City KY, Ima Deloris Sexton of Glasgow and 
Patricia Ann Bragg of Cave City KY Two brothers: Oris Eugene Basil of Glasgow and James Benton Basil of 
Park City Preceded also in death by:

Two brothers: LeeRoy and Ray Eagle Basil
