LaRue, Hardin, Nelson ROUT ROUTE ROUTT COVERT HOWARD BRASHEAR looking for info. Mary Jane Covert married George W. Rout in 1851 LaRue Co. I think she was living with Pastor Goodnight in 1850 census in Taylor Co. Who were her parents? George's parents were John and Sallie Howard Rout who married in Hardin 1822. Who were his parents? Sallie's were supposed to be Reason and Betsy Brashear Howard who married in Nelson in 1792. Any info on this family or proof that Sallie was theirs? Who were their parents? Would like cemetery listing of Barren Run that shows John and Sallie Rout. How is this family connected to the John Letcher Rout and Mary Kemper family?

Looking for possible siblings of Prosser Cruse of Hart Co, Ky. Names considered are Mary Cruse b abt 1804 who mar Wm Larkin 8 Aug 1824 Hardin Co, Ky. Could Larkin also be mistaken for Lamkin? One family in 1860 census of LaRue Co causes me to think that. Wm & Mary Lamkins have sons, David and Prosser and Merriot or Merritt (1870 census); Another poss sib is Willis Cruse b abt 1805, mar 2 times. Once to a Gregory and once to a Day poss in Allen or Monroe Co, Ky. Both Willis and Prosser witnessed a paper for Clarissa Cruse in LaRue Co in 1820's and 1840's. No relationship stated. This fam lived at juncture of Hart & LaRue Counties. Any suggestions and clues needed.

They lived in now-northern Hart/southern Larue . . . Elizabeth BOMAR, born about 1784, married David FERGUSON. Wilson BOMAR, born 1786, married Elizabeth FREEMAN (about 1833, they went to Knox County, Illinois; most children later went West [some now spell it Bomer]. Robert BOMAR, born 1788, married Sarah "Sallie" SHELTON. William BOMAR, born about 1792, married Karenhappach "Carrie" Ann CLOPTON (they went to Illinois; then circa 1850's, to Johnson County, Missouri). Mary BOMAR, born about 1798, married Henry BUCKNER. Sarah Amanda BOMAR, born 1800, married Jeremiah LAMKIN. Frances Ann BOMAR, born 1803, married David LAMKIN (about 1830 they went to Hickman County). John BOMAR, Jr., born 1805/6, married (1) a now-unknown woman and (2) Mary WALTERS. By my "rough" count, these families had 75 children and 420 grandchildren. If you can trace back to any, let's exchange. And I welcome queries. I am a genealogy--not a computer-- nerd. Snail mail, please, to: 1784 Mirabeau Drive, Okemos, MI 48864.
