I Jacob Storm of Laurel County Kentucky being of sound mind and disposing memory but in bad health and knowing the uncertainty of life do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

 

Fisrt, I desire the payment of all my just debts to be paid out of the property. Secondly I desire that my wife Lucy(?) Storm have one third of the remainder of my estate after the payment of my debts as aforesaid and then it is my Will and desire that the balance of my estate shall be equally divided between my Children. And lastly it is my Will and desire that William Storm my brother shall see that my will herein carried into effect and further purpose I nominate and appoint my father(?) James Storm to be the Guardian of my Children during their minority. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of March 1853.

A paper purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Jacob Storm was produced in Court and proven in full by the Oath of William H. Kendall a Subscribing Witness thereto which is ordered to be recorded which is done accordingly.
