Subject: Lincoln Co Ky Brick Wall

My brick wall...I'll preface this query by saying that I am 95% positive that I have the right parents for 
him.  My ggg-grandfather was Valentine Cook, born 1780-1790 (according to 1830 census) in 
Kentucky (according to daughters' census records).  
When I started doing my searches for him, the only Valentine Cook I could find with that approx. 
birthdate was the son of David and Sarah (Pullin) Cook, grandson of Capt. Valentine and Susannah 
(Baughman) Cook. 
Another researcher has told me that he thinks I have the right parents.  
The problem is tracing him from Lincoln County to Washington Co., Missouri.  I know he was in MO, 
pre-1820, and believe he may have gone there quite a bit earlier than that.  Because his claim in Mo 
was "next-door" to Daniel Boone's Wash. Co. claim, I am wondering if he was somehow associated 
with him -- David Cook was a surveyor with/for Daniel Boone.  
Can you help me with this family?  I appreciate anything I can get.  Thanks!
