Hi, my name is Roberta Toby and I am looking for any info on an Alvin McCowan b. ca. 1851 possibly. 
 I am at a brick wall on him.  His father or stepfather was James T. or M. McCowan we believe.  I 
appreciate any info on him I can get and am sorry I don't have more to go on.  We can not find any

I have found info on Alvin McCowan Tackett.  He changed his name to Tackett and is buried in the 
Pineville Cemetery, beside the Hospital there in Pineville, Knox, KY.
