My grandfather - John A Miller - moved to Lincoln County near Waynesburg in 
the early 1920's.  The property actually is in both Lincoln county and  
Pulaski county.
 
Sometime 1923-1930 he was arrested and by the time of the 1930's census he  
is listed in the state penetentiary.  He supposedly ran from the law before 
being sentenced and was caught in Va or WVa.
Would like to find records on his charges, time spent in prison etc.
 
I went to Frankfort last year, but ran out of time looking thru microfilm  
on prisoners.  With the common name of John Miller tracing him down is  
normally difficult.
 
Would the county have any records?  Any other suggestions to get this  
information
