My  3 Great Grandfather was James Polly, born around 1792, we believe in

Kentucky.  He married Sarah Perkins, who was born in 1801.  James and Sarah

resided in Washington County, Kentucky.  I am trying to find out who the

father of James Polly might have been.

I found a James Polly listed as a militia officer in 1781 in Lincoln County,

Virginia(Kentucky).  I thought that this James could possibly the father of

my James.  However, I can find no other information on him.

Could anyone else be of help?
