Samuel Gooch and Calista (Baker) Gooch

Samuel Gooch and Calista (Celestia Baker) Gooch are the parents of my grandmother Ida (Ioda) Beatrice Gooch 
born  in Cincinnati, OH. Celestia, her mother, died July 13, 1928 in Cincinnati, Ohio. when Ida was only
a year old.  As you can see from the note below, my great grandfather, gave my grandmother to 
Mrs. Stella Frazier to raise as their own.  His daughter Reba Grace Gooch
(the oldest of the children) had married True Frazier. Stella and Aruther Frazier were his parents. 
That's how Sam knew Stella and Arthur Frazier. 
My grandma said "They thought I was adorable and took me to raise!"
 Sam died April 28, 1936 in Kings Mt., KY.

p.s.  My grandmother is now 81 years old and still works a full time job!!!!
