Bettie J. Walls was born June 27,1880, she died August 25, 1914.  Her parents were Robert H. Walls and  (Lizabeth) 
Elizabeth Sluder. Robert H. Walls was born in 1849 and died in 1880.  Elizabeth was born in October of 1845 but I 
don't have a date of death for her. There were 3 other sisters, Margarett born 1873, Ellin L. born 1876, and Ivona 
born 1879. Bettie June was also known as Elizabeth.  Bettie married Martin Brown on June 24, 1900.  She married Jessee 
Walls on July 16, 1904. 


I have more information about Martin's and Bettie's family history.  I also have a copy of Bettie's death certificate. 
I'm still trying to piece things together.  I still would like to know who raised the children.  She had one son George 
Alvin when she and Martin married.  On the 1900 Federal Census, he was listed with the surname Walls.  She and Martin had 
a son Louie born in 1902 and another son, Chester who belonged to Jesse. The 1910 Federal Census lists the children as 
George A. Walls 10years old,Elgie B. Walls, age 4, and John E. Walls age 7 months. I'm not sure of these other 2 children.
