Charline Relford Atkins, 62, of Highland passed away Tues. Jan. 20, 2015 at home. Born March 13, 1952 in Stanford, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Betty Jean Naylor Relford.

Survivors include her husband, Danny Atkins; 1 son, Robert Wayne Relford of Winchester; 2 daughters: Stephanie Relford of Georgia and Jacqueline Relford of Wolf Co.; 3 brothers:
Andrew Relford of Georgetoen, Ronald Relford of Highland and Robert Relford of Lexington; 3 sisters: Joan Williams of Lexington, Pam Williams of Lexington, Tina Coleman of Highland;
7 grandchildren and her special dog, Little Bear.

No public services were held. Burial was at K.P. Hall Cemetery.

Arrangements were entrusted to W.L. Pruitt Funeral Home in Moreland.

Danny Bailey, 54, of Stanford, KY passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at home. He was born June 25, 1960 in Stanford, KY to James and Jeanette Henry Bailey.
 He was a farmer for most of his life and also a former employee of BPI Inc. in Stanford, KY. He enjoyed farming, hunting, and loved his dog "Hoss".
He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and attended the Church At Cedar Creek.

In addition to his parents, survivors include: three brothers: Glen Bailey (Lisa), Jim Bailey (Billie Ann), and Jerry Bailey (Lori), one sister: Linda Bailey all of
Stanford, KY, five nephews, one niece, three great-nephews, and five great-nieces.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 8, 2015 from 6:30-9pm at the Church at Cedar Creek in Stanford, KY. Funeral service will be 11am Friday, January 9, 2015
at the church with Brother Jefferson Calico officiating. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.

Casket bearers will be: Lou Foltz, Harold Kilby, Bucky Bryant, Buddy Schuler, Jerry Bailey, Jr., and Brian Bailey. Honorary bearers are his nieces and nephews.

James H. Bailey, 92, of Stanford, KY passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015 at the V.A. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. Born September 10, 1922 in Lincoln
County, KY to the late Claude and Maggie Burdine Bailey, he completed 8th grade and then went to work to help support the family. Later in life he
returned to school and completed his GED and other continuing education classes for his job. Mr. Bailey was a veteran of the United States Navy, and a
 petroleum supervisor for Southern States for 18 years. He was a member of American Legion Caswell Saufley Post #18 and was a past member of the honor
guard. He was a life member D.A.V and a former Deacon and member of Fairview Baptist church.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years: Jeanette H. Bailey of Stanford, KY, three sons: Glen A. Bailey (Lisa), Jim Bailey (Billie Ann), and Jerry Bailey (Lori), one daughter:
Linda Sue Bailey all of Stanford, KY, six grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents: he was
preceded in death by one son: Danny Bailey, one brother, and four sisters.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6-9pm at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral will be at the funeral home Thursday, January 22, 2015 at 10:30am
with Reverends Gary King and Johnny Baker officiating. Burial will follow at Camp Nelson National Cemetery in Nicholasville, KY. Casket bearers will be Brian Bailey, Jamie Bailey,

to the late James and Mattie Tuttle McCormack, she was the widow of the late Joseph Carroll Bishop, and a member of McCormack Christian Church.

Survivors include one son: Robert Bishop (Joan), two grandchildren: Carol Maples (Mike), and Sammy Bishop all of Stanford, KY, three great-grandchildren, and five
great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers: Robert & James McCormack, and one sister: Lilly B. Gover.

A one day service has been scheduled for Monday, February 2, 2015 at Spurlin Funeral Home, Stanford. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm with funeral service beginning
at 1pm. Reverend Ernest Martin will officiate the service. Burial will follow at Buffalo Springs Cemetery in Stanford, KY.

 KY she was the daughter of the late Clarence and Bertha Frederick Smith. She was a former employee of Horseman's IGA and BPI Inc., and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

Survivors include her companion of 27 years: Dewey Moore of Stanford, KY, one son: Michael Ray Brown (Kelly) of Hustonville, KY, three sisters: Myrtle Hazlett of Hustonville, KY, Velma Ollish (Orville) of Waynesburg, KY, and Kaye Reichenbach (Fred) of Stanford, KY, two grandchildren: Ainsleigh Brown and Lyndsay Rowland both of Hustonville, KY, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents,
she was preceded in death by two brothers: Bill Smith, Cecil "Chuck" Smith, and three infant brothers, and one sister: Florence Sawyer.

Born July 18, 1918 in Middleburg, KY to the late James and Anna McGuffey Smith, she was the widow of the late Willie Burton. She, along with her husband, were owners of Burton Service Station in Stanford, KY from 1948-1977. She was also a member of Stanford Baptist Church.

Survivors include two sons: Gary Burton (Pat) and Sam Burton (Carolyn) both of Stanford, KY, four grandchildren: Donna Godbey (Jimmy) of Stanford, KY, Deanna McWhorter (Greg) of East Bernstadt, KY, Jimmy Burton of Stanford, KY, and Will Burton of Washington, D.C., and three great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters: Evelyn Webster and Anna Lee Davidson.

Jackie Lee Byrd, 70 of Moreland passed away January 17, 2015. Born January 2, 1945, he was the son of the late Carl Bethel and Ora Lee Sexton Byrd. He was retired from American Greeting.

Jackie is survived by his daughter, Sonia (Jeff) Wilson and granddaughters, Loran and Hannah Wilson of Danville; brothers, Carl (Sandra) Byrd of Jamestown and Dean (Fannie) Byrd of
Nicholasville; and sister, Sandra Hogue of Junction City.

James Lee Byrd Jr., 46, of Rowlett TX, passed away Saturday in Garland, TX. James was born October 4, 1967 in Woodford County to James Lee Byrd (Delphine) and Mary Lou Redmon Sullivan (Keith).
He was formerly of Woodford and Garrard Counties. For many years, James worked for the Triple D Communications, enjoyed farming and dirt track racing.

Surviving is a son James William Byrd of Lancaster, KY and a daughter Sarah-Ann Michelle Byrd of Lancaster. Three brothers, Joe Patrick Byrd (Elizabeth) of Lancaster, Robert Adams
(Kim) of TX and Noel Sullivan (April) of TX.

Funeral Services will be 2 P.M. Friday January 10, 2014 at the Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Ken Mennfee officiating. Visitation will be Friday 11.AM.-2 P.M. at the Funeral Home.

James Cheek, age 75, of Bluebird Lane in Kings Mountain, passed away Tuesday, December 23, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville.  Born Tuesday, September 12, 1939 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late Zach & Dora Brock Cheek.  His loving wife is Sandra Hornsby Cheek, of Kings Mountain, whom he married March 26, 1963.  Throughout his career, he worked maintenance at the Golden Living Center in Stanford.  He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church and was a volunteer firefighter at Station #8 in Highland.  In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trading and bartering guns.

In addition to his wife, James leaves behind three sons, James D. Cheek and Louis Cheek both of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bobby Cheek of Stanford; two daughters, Mary Warmouth (Edward), and Joyce Padgett (Eddie) both of Stanford; four grandchildren, Chris Warmouth (Sarah), Cody Warmouth (Brittany), Austin Cheek, and Ethan Padgett; four great-grandchildren, Dawson Warmouth, Jayden Warmouth, Brayley Warmouth, and Brooklyn Warmouth; one brother, Zach Cheek of Lancaster; and three sisters, Georgia Matthews (Cecil) of Danville, Frances Denny and Judy Shearer (Doug) both of Nicholasville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Billy Cheek; and one granddaughter, Toni Cheek.

A Funeral Service will be held 11:00AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Baker officiating the service.  Burial will follow in Fairview Baptist Church Cemetery.

The Visitation will be held 6-8PM Friday, December 26, 2014 at the funeral home.

Lucille Garrison Crawford, 93, of Stanford passed away Wednesday, Jan. 14, at Ephraim McDowell Rigionas Medical Center in Danville.

Born December 22, 1921 in Danville, Lucille was a daughter of the late Homer & Laura Bishop Garrison. She was a former employee of Whirlpool, Inc., a member of Calvary
Hill Baptist Church in Stanford and th widow of Delbert Crawford .

She was also preceded in death by five brothers, J. T. Garrison, William Garrison, Marion Garrison, Julian Garrison and Homer Garrison.

Survivors in clude one son, Byron (Jackie) Crawford of Shelbyville, one brother, George Garrison of Stanford, four grandchildren; Eric (Julie) Crawford and Andrea Crawford both of Louisville,
Jew Crawford of Seattle, Wash. and Wes Crawford of Shelbyville, ; six great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were Jan. 17 at Spurlin Funeral Home with Revs; Brad King and lewis Walter officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Springs Cemetery.

The visitation and funeral service will both be Monday, January 19, 2015, visitation from 10:30-2pm, with funeral service at 2 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend David Gambrel will be officiating the service with burial in Gooch Cemetery, Kings Mountain, KY.

Irene Ballenger Denny, 84, formerly of New Castle, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born September 3, 1928 in Albany, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Virgil and Anna (Cooksey) Ballenger. Irene was the manager of Allens Young Fashions (The Kiddie Shop), The Mark and The Closet, for over 30 years. She had previously resided at Edgewater Woods and Keystone Woods in Anderson.

 

She attended Chesterfield Community Church of God in Chesterfield. She is survived by her children, Mike (wife: Madonna) Winchester of Muncie, Jeff Winchester of New Castle and Beth Denny Schaffter (husband: Wayne) of Anderson; a son-in-law, Bill (wife: Jane) Cowan of Losantville; 12 grandchildren, Todd (wife: Kim) Cowan, Troy (wife: Janet) Cowan, Marc Cowan, Ashleih Bertram-Wright, Steven (wife: Tammy) Winchester, Aaron Winchester, Stephanie Winchester, Kyle Winchester, Ryan Winchester, Taylor Ingram, Andrea Schaffter and Lauren Schaffter; 16 great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Fairchild of Monticello, Kentucky and several nieces and nephews.

Sue Ella Badgett Gehlhausen, age 84, of Darst Street in Stanford, passed peacefully Sunday, January 18, 2015 at her residence.  Born Tuesday, September 2, 1930 in
Lincoln County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Franklin “Tom” & Lelia Grace McClanahan Dishon Badgett.  Her loving husband is Rev. Victor J. Gehlhausen, Sr.
 of Stanford, whom she married September 26, 1947.  Sue Ella was a homemaker and member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church.  She will be remembered
for the love of her husband, children, and grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Sue Ella leaves behind one son, Victor John Gehlhausen, Jr. (Melinda) of Manchester; three daughters, Carolyn Louise Coffey (Gary) and
Martha Sue Gehlhausen both of Stanford, and Jacqueline Lee Gibson (Mike) of Hustonville; one son-in-law, Dewayne Whited of Casey County; 13 grandchildren;
21 great-grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Monica Esther Whited; and three brothers, Dr. Joseph Chester Badgett, Thomas Faulkner Badgett, and William Wesley Badgett.

Alexander Hamilton, 88, of Waynesburg, Ky., passed away Monday, December 1, 2014 at Lakeridge Villa in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He was born in David, Ky., on February 21, 1926, son of the late James Porter and Della Centers Hamilton. After serving in the U.S. Navy in the South Pacific for three years during World War II. He graduated from Louisville School of watch making and served as a watch maker and manager for Dodd

Jewelers in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the year 1951, he became an ordained minister and worked and built many churches and pastored a church in Wellston, Ohio. In 1954, he became the pastor of Waynesburg Church of God of Prophecy , where he built a new building on Cemetery Road.

He was an accomplished builder, stone mason, brick layer and carpenter. He built and developed Hamilton Homes subdivision in Waynesburg and was a union brick layer for over 50 years.

He is survived by Sharon and Joan Hamilton; siblings, Bonnie Buckner, Carol Sue Hamilton, Kenneth R. Hamilton and Herman Hamilton; many nieces and nephews and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, James W. Hamilton, Roy Hamilton, Paul Hamilton and Jimmy Lynn Hamilton.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, December 4, 2014 at New Life Church of God of Prophecy in Waynesburg with Bro. Sam Smith officiating.Burial will be in

He was the widower of Wilmoth Mae (Ping) Hawkins who preceded him in death on February 22, 2000. Felmer was born in Virginia on April 12, 1927. He was the son of the late John Horace and Bessie (Layne) Hawkins. He was a member of Liberty Baptist Church since 1947 and was the church Trustee. Felmer was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served in WW II.

Survivors Include; Daughters;  Peggy Ann Foster, Connie and Husband Marvin Harness, Son, Steve Hawkins and Wife Peggy Sue. Sisters; Thetta Denney & Loretta & Husband Johnny Connors

Glenn H. “Bongo” Hester, Sr. age 73, of 306 Anderson Heights in Stanford, passed away Thursday, January 22, 2015 at his home.  Born Thursday, January 22, 1942 in Stanford, he was the son of the late T.J. Hester and Lucille Starnes Hester and the widower of the late Vivian Patterson Hester.  Glenn worked for many years at the Lexington Herald-Leader and as a salesman for Delta J Screen Printing in Garrard County.

Glenn was a long-time member of New Beginnings United Methodist Church.  He was a well-known face in Stanford.  You would see him riding around town on his scooter, and he always had a smile and something pleasant to say.  He was also an avid golfer.  He will be missed by many in the community.

Glenn leaves behind two sons, Glenn (Debbie) Hester, Jr., of Richmond and Rodney (Susie) Hester of Lancaster; two granddaughters, Haven Hester and Macy Hester of Lancaster; a brother, Tommy Hester of Nicholasville; and all of his step-children by his late wife, Vivian.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald “Sneeze” Hester and Harold Hester.

Bob graduated from Centre College with a double major in physics and chemistry. He had been a farmer, Lincoln County Health Inspector and state Milk Inspector. He was a member and deacon of Hustonville Christian Church, a member of Rocky Ford Masonic Lodge and a US Army WWII veteran. He had served on the Hustonville City Council and was a present member of the Hustonville Cemetery Board.

Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Hicks. He is survived by two sons, Barney (Dora) Hicks and Roger Hicks, both of Hustonville; two grandchildren, Gary Hicks and Mary Beth Bonta; and four grandchildren: Taylor Brown, Campbell Hicks and Kinley and Jacob Bonta.

Connie was an Administrator for Charleston Healthcare for many years. She is survived by her two nephews; David Middleton of Lancaster and Timothy Middleton of Stillwater, OK, and a great nephew Justin McMullen of Lancaster. Also surviving is a special friend Stanley Lumpkins. Along with her parents, Connie is preceded in death by a sister Nancy Lane Middleton.

Hugh "Mac" McCulley, 52, of Frankfort, formerly of Garrard County, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his home. He was born March 4, 1962 in Garrard County to Hugh McCulley Sr. and Martha Harris Bastin.

Mac was a hard-working Carpenter who loved to build, loved the outdoors, traveling, and would help anyone in need. He leaves behind his loving dog, Radley.

Surviving are his wife Katherine Rash of Frankfort, his mother Martha Bastin, a son Cai Gibson McCulley of San Rafael, California, a daughter Kristin Kephart Hardgrove (Matthew) of Denver, CO, a brother Noel Campbell McCulley of Lexington, and a sister Cindy McCulley Feldman (David) of Lancaster. Also surviving are two nieces, two nephews, and two great nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, Hugh McCulley, Sr.

Sylvia M. McGuffey, 98, of Stanford, KY died Saturday, January 10, 2015, at her home. She was born February 18, 1916 in Santa Paula, CA to the late Clark and Bessie Alexander Garman. She was the widow of James W. McGuffey.

Sylvia graduated from Danville High School and Centre College in 1937 where she received her B.A. degree. She then finished with her graduate school at the University of KY in Lexington, KY. She taught school for 8 years in Lincoln and Boyle Counties, with her first year in a one room school. Her career also included working as the medical supply officer for Darnell General Hospital in Danville, KY; for the Los Angeles, CA Board of Education, and as staff secretary at the largest Sears Store in the U.S.A. After retirement she and her husband, the late James W. McGuffey, enjoyed traveling, seeing most of the United States together. Her greatest joy in life however was reading and studying the bible. She was a member of the Ft. Logan Church of Christ in Stanford, KY.

Anna Lee Murphy, 70, of Tinder Ave Lancaster, passed away October 14, 2014 at Select Specialty Hospital in Lexington KY. She was born August 16, 1944 in Garrard Co., to the late Charles and Addie B. Simpson Murphy.

Surviving are two sons Charles Wayne Lear, and Charles Jr. Lear(Trish) both of Lancaster; two daughters Melissa Carpenter(Jimmy) of Lancaster, and Michelle Ward of Tennessee; four brothers Russell, Wayne, Morris and Gordon Murphy;

Also surviving are six grandchildren Brittany Carpenter, J.D. Carpenter, Dakota Lear, Quinton Lear, Nicole Ward, and Justin Reynolds. Anna is also preceded in death by two sons Keith and Clyde Lane; and a brother Donnie Murphy.

She was the daughter of William Roy and Mary Lucille Woods McFerson. She was a former seamstress having worked for Cowdens Manufacturing. She was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

Survivors Include: Daughter, Bonnie & Husband John Rothwell, Son: Roy & Wife Jessica Parker, One Brother, William McFerson. One Half Sister, Louise Timberlake. Five Grandchildren, John Rothwell, Jr. & Wife, Sue Ann, Jesse Rothwell & Wife, Tiffine,Riley, Peyton & Mollie Parker.

Cecil Harmon Rutledge, age 86, of Edgewood Drive in Stanford, passed away Friday, December 19, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford.  Born Friday, July 6, 1928 in Garrard County, he was the son of the late John & Annie Beatrice Anderson Rutledge.  He was the widower of the late Christine Shearer Rutledge, who preceded him in death April 7, 2013.  Cecil retired from the Cincinnati Milacron Company.  He was a US Army Veteran and served during the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church in Garrard County and loved to travel.

Cecil leaves behind one sister, Sarah York of Junction City; one brother, Charles Rutledge of Georgia; and several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held 1:00PM Monday, December 22, 2014 at Fox Funeral Home with Bro. Born August 26, 1930 in Stanford, KY to the late Manles and Grace Gilpin Lasure, she was the widow of the late Reverend Jesse B. Sebastian. She worked in retail sales for most of her life and was a Baptist Missionary.

Survivors include three sons: Stephen Sebastian (Melinda Jo) of Highland, KY, Tim Sebastian (Rachel) of Lexington, KY, and Philip Sebastian (Elaine) of Stanford, KY, one daughter: Beth Sebastian of Frankfort, KY, four brothers: Charles Lasure of Kissimmee, FL, Manles Lasure Jr. of Stanford, KY, Carter Lasure of Bardstown, KY, and Paul Lasure of Lancaster, KY, two sisters: Alberta Wood of Danville, KY, and Mary Still of Louisville, KY, six grandchildren: Alicia Miller, Michaela Sebastian, Branden Barnett, Amanda Mgbodille (Anthony), Abby Scott (Branden), and Allie Sebastian, four great-grandchildren: Karsyn Jolie Miller, Rylie Grayce Miller, Sebastian Ikenna Mgbodille, and Josiah Obinna Mgbodille, and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth E. Smith, 78, of Totten Ave. Lancaster, passed away Wednesday October 22, 2014 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY. She was preceded in death by her husbands Jim Walton and Bradley Smith. Ruth was born July 28, 1936 in Lincoln Co. to the late Elmer and Florence Gooch Walls.

She worked at Cowden's Manufacturing for over 30 years, was a caregiver, and worked for housekeeping at Christian Care Center. Ruth was a member of Gilbert's Creek Baptist Church.

Surviving are two sons James Michael Walton(Dorothy) and Jeff Walton(Joyce); one daughter Debbie Sue Davis(Roy) all of Lancaster; a sister Imogene Salyers; seven grandchildren, Jennifer Kidwell, Melanie York, Linda Conley, Jimmy Walton, Misty Walton, Roy Davis Jr. and Kristy Goodin; seven great- grandchildren, Breanna, Noah, Amy, Justin, Harley, Haley and Kerstyn; four stepchildren Bradley Smith Jr. ,Debra Smith Hughes, Terry Smith, and Gary Smith all of Harrodsburg; fifteen step grandchildren, eleven step great-grandchildren and her beloved pet dog Butterball. Ruth was also preceded in death by five sisters, one brother, and a step grandson, Derrick Hughes.

Robbins Miracle of Stanford and the late Glen Miracle.  Her loving husband is Randy Southerland of Lincoln County, whom she married October 25, 1975.  Gwen worked as a hairdresser, and owned her own business, Miracle Cuts, in Somerset.  She loved hummingbirds and to crochet, in her spare time.

In addition to her husband and mother, Gwen leaves behind one son, Chris Southerland (Rebecca) of Irvine; one daughter, Beth Byrd (Joe) of Garrard County; one sister, Bonnie Shoemaker (Homer) of Stanford; and one granddaughter, Zoey Southerland.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two infant daughters, Crystal Renee Southerland and Heather Nicole Southerland.

Venoy, age 97, of KY Hwy 1247 in Waynesburg, passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at his residence.  Born Monday, May 14, 1917, in Lincoln County, he was the son of the late Jesse Clint & Bessie Mae Cornett Venoy.  His loving wife is Iva Mae Howson Venoy of Waynesburg, whom he married July 30, 1943.  Clarence was a US Army Air Force Veteran-the last WWII Pearl Harbor Veteran of Lincoln County.  Clarence worked as a self-employed electrician and plumber, was a member of the VFW, and a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, Clarence leaves behind three sons, Robert Venoy (Greta) of Shopville, Venton Venoy of Halls Gap, and Johnny Venoy (Brenda) of Waynesburg; three daughters, Shirley Baker (Junior) of Waynesburg, and Thelma Mercer and Jackie Mize (Bruce) both of Eubank; four brothers, Charlie Venoy of Pennsylvania, Ray Hall (Rosie) of Waynesburg, Tommy Hall (Rosetta) of South Carolina, and Joe Hall (Lois) of Somerset; two sisters, Eva Harris (Tim) of Waynesburg and Mary Coleman of Florida; 21 grandchildren; and 30+ great-grandchildren.

Achillies Wade “A.W.” Watts, 85, Hopkinsville, died at 1:57 a.m. January 30, 2015 at Gateway Medical Center in Clarksville, TN from complications suffered after a fall.

A native of Pulaski County born September 24, 1929, he was the son of the late Squire and Margie Campbell Watts.  He was SGM retired after serving 25 years in the U.S. Army during WWII and the VietNam wars.

His wife, Charlean Coker Watts, died in 1982.

After his military career, he served as Director for the Hopkinsville – Christian County Senior Citizen Center, which was renamed the A.W. Watts Senior Center when it relocated to its current location on West 7th Street.

He is survived by his daughter, Debra Robertson of Hopkinsville, one brother, Marion Watts (Jean), of Astabula, OH and two grandsons; Kenny Robertson and Michael Robertson, both of Hopkinsville.

In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth Wade Watts in 1961.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. EST Monday, February 2, 2015 at Barnett & Demrow Funeral Home in Waynesburg, KY with Bro. Wilson, Jr., age 51, of Preachersville Road in Lincoln County, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015 at UK Medical Center in Lexington.  Born Friday, December 13, 1963 in Jacksonville, Florida, he was the son of Jane Fletcher Wilson of Stanford and the late Robert Lee Wilson, Sr.  His loving wife is Dianne Davis Wilson of Stanford, whom he married December 26, 2008.  Robert worked as a Respiratory Therapist for VA Medical Center and loved to farm and fish in his spare time.

In addition to his wife and mother, Robert leaves behind four sons, Brandon Stratton of Lawrenceburg, Earl Tolley (Beth) of Danville, and Christopher Tolley and Jonathan Wilson (Kelsey) both of Stanford; two brothers, Kenny Wilson (Angie) and Joey Wilson both of Stanford; one sister, Becky Lanham (Doug) of Danville; three grandchildren; one granddaughter due any day now; and a special K-9 Companion, Harley.

William B. "Bill" Wilson, 78, of Stanford, KY died Monday, January 19, 2015 at his home. He was born August 3, 1936 in Highland, KY to the late William E. "Bgypt" and Chrystal Missouri Berry Wilson. Bill was a Navy veteran where he had been an Aviation Electronics and flight instructor. He had been an officer with the D.E.A. from 1974-88. He was a member of Grace Fellowship Church.

Survivors include a son, William Patrick Wilson (Cindy) of Racine, WI, two daughters, Chrystal Sue Zarnstorff (Michael)of Hustonville, KY, and Amy Jo Simmons (Johny) of Oak Creek, WI, 7 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 1 niece, 3 nephews, and sister-in-law Betsy Wilson. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ronald K. Wilson.

The family would like to offer special thanks to both Bea Stringer and Darrell Gifford for their help and support during his time of need.
