The Metcalfe County Historical Society meets each 4th Monday night of the month at the Metcalfe County Library at 7:00 pm (central standard time) on the square in Edmonton. They publish a Quarterly entitled "History Speaks." Membership dues are $10.00 a year and applications for membership may be directed to Metcalfe County Historical Society, Box 910, Edmonton, KY 42129

The Metcalfe County Public Library is open Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday - 8:30 to 4:30; Saturday - 9:00 to 2:00. They have vertical files, microfilm readers and a copy machine.
