Brownsboro

Is an incorporated town with a population of 300, in precinct of same name, Oldham county, 7 miles south of LaGrange, the county seat and 20 from Louisville. It has a saw and flour-mill, a Christian church and an academy and ships whiskey and grain and livestock. Land in the adjacent country can be purchased at $20 to $80. Express Adams. Mail tri-weekly. L. M. LaRue, postmaster.
