All Wills, Deeds and Marriage Records are housed at the Oldham County Clerk's office in the Deed Room. Enter through the main entrance and turn left... go all the way back past the counter and you will be in the deed room. Some of the records housed there are marriage indices from 1824-1957 and 1958 to 1990, 1990 to present. Also, Wills dating back to 1824.
Some of the newer records (Wills & Deeds) are housed in the computer. There are four computer terminals. There are printers for the computers, I am not sure of the cost per page probably 10 cents like the copies.
There is one copier but you will need to get the Deed Room employee to enter a code so that you can copy. Currently, copies cost 10 cents per page but may change in the future.
The Oldham County Public Library have a new location off Yager Ave in LaGrange. The library is very nice but has a limited Genealogy reference area. They do have one microfiche reader and a cabinet of microfilm that contained tax records and some newspapers.
