 Charles C. Head Dies At Home of Sister

Charles Crutchfield Head 75, died Sunday, July 12, 1942 at the home of his sister, Mrs. C. C. McRoberts, the last of their generation. The son of Lawrence W. and Susan Mitchell Head, he was born and spent his life in Oldham County. He never married. He was a member of the Christian Church from boyhood.
He is survived by his sister, Mrs. C. C. McRoberts and nieces and nephews. Services were held at Peak Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday by the Rev. Robert N. Simpson.  A quartette composed of Mrs. Wilsie Guthrie, Mrs. Robert Burge, Miss Lena Peak, Mr. R. H. Snyder sang with Miss Virginia Guthrie at the piano.
Interment was in the Valley of Rest, Pall bearers were W. W. Head, J. C. Haffler James Fitzgerald, Richard Woodsmall, L.H. Morgan, John Sheehan. (Charles Cruchfield Head, b. Sept. 15, 1866, d. July 12, 1942)
