 Oldham Era Obituary

Mr. James M. Price, age 73, of Axton Lane, Skylight passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack @ 10:45 a.m., at the Mallory-Taylor Memorial Hospital, LaGrange.

Mr. Price was a farmer in Oldham County for many years.  He was a native of Larue County, Kentucky and the son of the late John and Molly Alice Murphy Price.  Mr. Price was a member of the Liberty Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lelah Fendley,  a daughter Ruby Price of Skylight, and a son, Mr. James H. Price of Lyndon. He had one grandson and a great- grandson.  Also surviving are five sisters:   Dora A. Fendley, Indianapolis IN.,  Mrs. Mary Lou Turney,
Indianapolis IN,  Mrs. Betty Jane Campbell, Indianapolis, IN.,  Mrs. Florence Long, Indianapolis, IN.,  Mrs. Alfred Larberg, Louisville and one brother, Mr. W. H. Price, Louisville.

Funeral services were from the Adkins-Radcliffe Funeral Home, LaGrange and at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 16, 1970, at the Liberty Baptist Church with Rev. John Dawson, Pastor, officiating.  Interment was in Harrods Creek Cemetery, Brownsboro.

Serving as casket bearers were Clifford Halleron, William H. Price, Jr., William Wild, George Wild, Lewis Smith, and Howard Price.
