(born in 1840 in Oldham County, KY to Fielding and Mariah Neal (Maiden name: Marshall) Fielding and Mariah were also the parents of Marshall and George Neal who are buried at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.

(born 1835) also of Oldham County.

1940 - James Newton and Mattie Belle Neal

The three children above were the children of James Newton and Mattie Belle Neal (Mattie's maiden name was Doak and she was the daughter of Preston B Doak who is buried in Pleasant Hill). This picture was taken in 1940 at their 50th wedding anniversary
