Duvall to Clarrissa Fishback
This deed made and entered into this Decr 10th 1877
between Dulcinia Duvall and James E. Duvall her husband
of the County of Owen and State of Kentucky of the first part
and Clarrisa Fishback of the County and State aforesaid of
the second part, "Witnesseth" that for and in consideration of
the sum of Fifty Dollars cash in hand paid the receipt whereof
acknowledged, the party of the first part have granted
bargained and sold and by these presents doth sell unto the
party of the second part, all the following described real
estate Viz: A certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in
Owen County Kentucky and lying on the water of Cedar
Creek and bounded as follows. Beginning at a Cedar on
the cliff corner to Dulcinia Duvall thence S28E 4 poles to a
cedar thence S55 1/2 E 35 poles to the cliff on the creek
thence up the same N34 1/2 E 35 poles to a stone thence
to the beginning containing 3 acres by survey.
To have and to hold unto the said party of the second
part her heirs and assigns forever, Together with all
appurtenances, thereunto belonging, and the party of the
first part covenants with the part of the second part that
they will warrant and defend the title to the forever against
all claims or claims of any and all persons whatsoever with
a general warranty deed. In testimony whereof we have
hereunto set our hands and seals together with J. E.
Duvall the husband of said Dulcenea his potential right
contained, In and to said piece of land the day and date
first above written.

certify that the foregoing deed from Dulcinea & J. E. Duvall
to Clarrissa Fishback was on the Decr 11th 1877 produced

Dulcinea & J. E. Duvall to be their act and deed and the same
was lodged to be and is together with this certificate I have
truly recorded in my said office.

I Dulcina Duvall, do hereby appoint my son James T.
Duvall my lawful agent to transact all my business I may have
and in my name, and to receive all moneys belonging to me
and receipt for the same iand in my name to make all releases
wherever they may be necessary such as deeds, mortgages
& c. the same as if I should be in person empowering him to
transact all business I may have. In testimony whereof I
have hereunto set my hand this May 13th 1891.

Duvall by atty James T. Duvall to Wm. T. Wood
This deed a conveyance made and entered into this 18th day
of Sept 1891 between Dulcina Duvall by her attorney James
T. Duvall party of the first part and William T. Wood party
of the second part witnesseth that said party of the first part
for and in consideration of the sum of Nine Hundred and
Fifty Nine ($959.35 1/2 dollars and thirty seven and one
half cents paid and to be paid as follows. One hundred
dollars cash in hand paid the receipt of which is hereby
acknowledged and Two hundred and twenty Nine dollars
and 68 cents on the first of March 1893, and Three Hundred
and 29 dollars and 68 cents on the first day of March 1894,
do hereby sell and convey to the party of the second part
his heirs and assigns the following described property to wit:
A tract of land on Cedar Creek adjoining the town of
Monterey in Owen County Ky and bounded as follows
Beginning at a stone on the branch corner to Douthitt thence
up the branch N59 E 10 poles N33 E 26 poles N60 E 5 8/10
poles to a stone corner to Jesse Johnson, thence S83 3/4 E
30 poles to a stone corner to Johnson, thence S3 E 82 poles
to a stone on Cedar Creek thence down the same N57 W 6
8/10 poles N80 W 15 1/2 poles S80 W 15 2/10 poles S62
1/4 W 19 poles S40 W 16 poles S 48 1/4 W 15 poles S40
1/2 W 10 8/10 poles to a stone corner to Fishback, thence N33
W 6 poles to a stone, thence N21 W 8 poles to a stone corner
to Fishback's thence S76 3/4 W 12 poles to a stone, thence
S 56 1/4 W 13 8/10 poles to a stone corner to Daswon's
lot, thence N 23 1/2 W 21 4/10 poles to a cedar corner to
M. Bourne, thence with his line N 5 1/2 W 82 8/15 poles to
a stone corner to M. Bourne in Douthitt's line on a branch,
thence up the branch S88 E 18 8/10 poles S 72 E 15 poles
S 63 1/2 E 12 poles W 86 1/2 E 17 6/10 poles S 63 E 23
poles S 84 E 26 poles to the beginning Containing 76 acres
2 roods and 20 poles.
To have and to hold the same together with all the
appurtenances thereunto belonging unto the party of the
second part his heirs and assigns forever. And the said party
of the first part hereby covenants with the said party of the
second part that she will warrant the title to the property
hereby conveyed unto the said party of the second part a
wagon road to Monterey and Owenton Turnpike. A lien
is contained upon the property hereby conveyed as
security for the payment of the said unpaid purchase money.
In testimony whereof the party of the first part has here-
unto subscribed her name by attorney the day and year
aforesaid.

conveyance from Dulcena Duvall by her attorney James T.
Duvall to William T. Wood was on the 18th day of September
1891 produced to me in said County and acknowledged
before me by James T. Duvall Attorney for Mrs. Dulcina
Duvall party granter thereto to be his act and deed.
