Kentucky, Parents b. Kentucky Son: Laurel Lock, age 22, b. Kentucky Son: Wallace Lock, age 19, b. Kentucky Daughter: Myrtle Lock, age 17, b. Kentucky Thomas Jefferson's son Laurel was my grandfather. Thomas Jefferson's father was William W. Lock and his father was William F. Lock all residents of Owen County as were my grandfather and my father James Elwood Lock. William F. Lock (1788-1852) was married to Rebecca Nelson, daughter of the Edward Nelson (wife Harriet Morgan - Battle of Bryant's Station) who was one of the original settlers of Western Kentucky. |
