    The Owen County History Book is being compiled by the Owen County Historical Society. The Historical Society is trying to get as many Owen Co. family histories in it as possible. It will be a wonderful resource for people to use if they don't currently live in Owen County but have roots here.

    A loose leaf History on Lusby Mills is available. This is a reprint of a January 1948 booklet printed by The Owenton News-Herald for the Lusby Mills Homemakers.
