Buoy was present.  He acknowledged his fault and promised by the help of God to do better.  The Brethren willingly forgave him and he is now in full fellowship.            G.W. Holton   Clerk

June 20, 1841 - The Disciples met with Br. Powel on this day at the meeting house. And Br. Powel discussed to them and concluded his remarks by exorting Sinners to obedience.   Winny a oloured woman came forward and confessed her faith in the Lord.  The invitation was then extended to those who had been immersed and wished to unite with this congregation.  Three came forward, to wit - Sarah Marshall, Joseph Gifford and William Clayton.  The death of the Lord was then celebrated.               G.W. Holton

July 19th 1841 - The Disciples at Richland met on this day and worshiped God by Singing, Reading, Teaching, Exorting and praying.  The Elements not being present The breaking of the loaf was omitted.      G.W. Holton       clk

On the Saturday before the 3rd Sunday in July Br Powel met the Disciples at Richland.  He discoursed to them on saturday and Sunday.   On Sunday Brethren Coleman Clayton, William Clayton, WIlliam Lay and Squire Washborne , also Sister Washborne & Sister Clayton asked permission of the Church to the church at Mechanicks Burgh and it was granted them.      G.W. Sept. 5th 1841 - The Disciples at RIchland met on this day for worship.  Br. Mitchel met with them.  But there was an objection raised by a baptist Br. relative to our occupying the house, therefore Br. Mitchel did not discourse to us this day.  We however opened meeting by singing and prayer.  Gave a short exortation and opened the door of the church for the reception of any who had been previously immersed. Six came forward, to wit: James King, Alcy King, Wm. Atwell, Margaret Atwell, Margaret Mitchel jur, and Malinda Collier.  The death of our Lord and Master was then celebrated.  The Brethren then gave up the house and retired to a Shade hard by.  There was a consultation held relative to sending a messenger to the Annual meeting held or to be held at Paris.  It was thought expedient that the church at Richland should be reported at the Annual meeting. Br. Mitchel was therefore appointed to report and Br. James Dawson to bear the Letter to the meeting. Ad.       G.W. Horton     Clk

Sept. 19th 1841 - Br. Jno Powel met the Disciples at Richland on this day and continued with them 2 days during which time 2 were added to the church.  One that had previously baptised and one was immersed at this meeting.    G.W. Holton
